The network tries to produce one block per 10 minutes. It does this by automatically adjusting how difficult it is to produce blocks.

+ terrible !
lol, the dev better do 2 things fast :
- Pay professionals for a decent design [wallet & coin] with either btc/lgc
- Realize that Ninja-mining can easily kill a coin, & will make no-one rich. so, some more activity now or never.

~ peaCe

You asshats think its as easy as just "pay a graphic designer". what you want would require an entire rewrite of the code and is not something anyone could undertake as easily as you clowns seem to suggest. We are talking thousands of dollers to rewrite the code and a new wallet. You expect the dev to front that sort of cash on a coin they didn't premine or IPO? Atleast the dev here has tried to set the coin apart which is far more than I notice a tonne of other coins doing.

I actually like the current logo and i wouldn't consider it "ninja mining", It's us users that need to do the leg work and promote the coin if we feel it has a chance. Sitting back and mining it while expecting everything under the sun from a dev team who get nothing at all in return isn't going to work.

just my 2LGC.

do you have the darkcoin version of sgminer? the regular version won't work.

http://darkcoin.io/downloads/darkcoin-sgminer-windows.zip

+1

Yeah. The windows binary site isn't hosting the sph copy since the new 4.1.271 release.

All previous issues have been addressed and resolved! Back 100% operational!

We are extremely pleased to inform you all that the negative balance issue has now been fixed.

Since the extent of missing transactions was considerable for that period, and that we lost more debit transactions rather than credit ones (meaning balances in credit_dummy were higher than the actual amount), we proceeded with a credit based on your average payout / block for the affected period. We chose to proceed this way to resolve this issue faster for everybody.  That ensured a minimal loss, and everybody got their fair share of the coins for that period that were previously un-credited to assess the credit/debit inconsistensies.

You can come back mining at http://LGC.SuchPool.pw

We will soon announce a full week of 0% fees to compensate all our miners.

Again, we deeply apoligize for the inconvenients that occured recently. Please be assured that we won't let that happen again.
We took this as a lesson, and quickly reacted by adding more database slaves, more backups and more security overall on our infrastructure.

At this moment, every previous issue has been solved and we are back operational at 100%!

We hope you enjoy mining on our pools. Bring back the hashes!

*If you feel like your balance is somehow still incorrect, feel free to contact us at any time at admin@suchpool.pw

Rule number one. You don't talk about Logicoin.
Rule number two. You DO NOT TALK ABOUT LOGICOIN.
Rule number three. If you run out of Logicoin, you MUST mine, trade, or beg for more.
Rule number four. You can only mine one type of coin at a time.
Rule number five. Everybody mines Logicoin. Always.
Rule number six. Nobody dumps Logicoin.
Rule number seven. Mining will go on even if there are no Logicoins left.
Rule number eight. If this is your first time with Logicoin, you HAVE to buy 10k on Poloniex.

Rule number SHOULDN'T BE ON THE LIST: Do not reply to this post without first watching Fight Club. Again.

so i finally got my own logicoin p2pool node up and running on windows.  Grin

most of the tutorials i found on the internet appeared to be lacking some of the key elements to properly setup an x11 p2pool node on windows.

if anyone is interested, please post reply and i will post instructions.

it's actually very easy.

Yes please do. I've been considering adding a guides section of sorts to the website and would love the add this when I get around too it.

Does this coin mining with the CPU ??

you need the xcoin-miner

http://darkcoin.io/downloads/xcoin-miner.zip

then follow the directions provided by the pool of your choice.

minerd -a X11 -o stratum+tcp://pooladdresshere:port -u worker -p password

If you have a modern processor you can use the cpu optimized versions here:

http://download.darkcoin.fr/darkCoin-cpuminer-1.3-avx-aes-windows-binaries.zip

Check the readme to see which miner to use for your processor. They all use the same options as what wirerogue mentioned above.

Performance with the cpu optimized versions is about 2x. I get about 567kh on an I7-3770k @ 4.5ghz running 7 threads.

Do what he ^ said.

I propose using the unicode character U+13DD for Logicoin value branding..

So for 100 Logicoin, it would be Ꮭ100.

Miners are classed as viruses by av software:) Feel free to grab the zip anywhere else though, scan the zip, and look up the alerts that pop up about it before doing anything with it. Regular old minerd will throw the same alerts.

GUIDE

Awesome. What this means is that if you follow this guide you will be running your own p2p node that will be linked up with every other p2pool. Because you are linked up with the other p2pools you will find blocks when they do but you will have an extremely low ping to the server (which is essentially now your windows PC) and will have a much lower chance of submitting stale shares which in turn should mine you more LGC.

Thanks for this guide wirerogue, I will be working on a "guides" section most likely tonight, when I add this you will be given full credit.

I'd like to take this time to mention that our dev compiled the Windows wallet for Frycoin and has been asked to join the "Coin Revival Foundation". Some people may misconstrue this as a conflict of intrest but our main focus is and always will be Logicoin. We advocate open source technology and the type of community that it builds and as such are more than happy to offer what services we can to the community.

it could also work as free advertisment for logicoin. People notice the logidevs helping other coins and then they come check us out. I'm really surprised the price of LGC has remained steady for so long and it gives me the impression that if this coin got more popular we could see a huge price rise. would be nice if we could hit a few more profit calculator sites and what not though.

Great Dev
No Premine
Awesome Launch
X11
Small amount of total coins

LGC really has alot going for it yet it seems that Premined and IPO coins grab up all the attention and hashpower. I think there's still alot of people a bit iffy about X11 though. Once ASIC's come out I can see alot of people switching over to X11 and LGC seems like one of the better X11 coins.
