MTGOX, what's up with your data feed api's?

i know, it's a complex issue. Any word on when to expect this to be resolved?

Every time there is a significant movement, all data feeds freeze to death - simply unacceptable, it won't get us and you anywhere on a serious level

why can't you at least have your api stream to few selected servers which then rebroadcast it to all other parties?

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

There remains a MOVED: MtGox in here please on the main forum. MtGox will be attracted to that topic, then come here.

Additionally, the MtGox support constantly searches "MtGox" on the bitcointalk.org forums as well.

If you really want to get his attention, you could always PM him a link to this thread.  If there is no answer, then that's an answer in itself. I do appreciate the sarcasm though, that's always nice.

MTGOX, this issue won't go away on it's own, restarting feed services every time they freeze is not a solution.

i'm very surprised that live feeds isn't one of your top priorities at the moment, feeds downtime slows down everything including your earnings and make whole thing look bad and amateur.

That, plus for non-basic issues, people like me directly contact someone at MtGox. (I just emailed Adam)

Squeaky wheel gets the oil.  It is annoying to have it down and up at any time of the day lately.

i'm not going to email or pm about this.. this is a huge issue , while looking at their own mtgoxlive and supposedly monitoring the board,  they should be well aware of it.. and if they don't see it as such let the mount kill itself
