POD is ridicules. CryptoAsian has no authority, just another twitter crypto guru. We don't need a pod from him. Our community is our POD. If people can't see that from browsing our thread, they probably don't understand long term vision either. They are only after a quick profit, or worse, blindly following trends, end up panic sell and really screw up our economy.
We don't need a POD certifict from anyone. The devs are working hard to create our own POD, panda will prove itself. Our name will be our POD.

+1 CryptoAsian means nothing to new comers. They don't have the credibility to the masses and why should anyone trust them anymore than we trust our dev and the community? I call them BS and I do not support giving them credibility by using them.

Now that is interesting, something that could be used anywhere; convert to USD and can be used like a debit card.

You don't need coinssource or cryptoasian to reveal your identity. But i feel it could be a risky move, because even you have the best intentions something may go "wrong" with the coin, like a hacker finding a way to attack the network, or a massive dump and ppl might blame you for it. Of course if you really want to bring this coin to the masses like you claim then at some point someone from the massive dev team will have to show up in real life somewhere, like on a conference, explaining the vision. Like the guy from Digibyte or Heavycoin(These are just the wo i remember from memory) or lots of others did. "The masses" are not going to come to your irc channel or bitcointalk

"The masses" are not going to come to your irc channel or bitcointalk Having to show your face and real life identity is definitely a must when a coin gonna get big. I agree with your point regarding not having to reveal identity to 3rd-party for "trust verification" purposes. The community and developers themselves will be the PoD.

This is a good idea; it just re-assures new people. All of us who've been around know the devs are real. Also, FYI the Clustercoin dev refused to give POD and vanished after the ICO instadump. People will be thinking about that if Panda just refuses to provide one. FUDsters will ride that horse until it dies. Best to just get one ... I think "that horse" is more like an amoeba... there's enough POD on this thread alone, and if one bothers to check the IRC channel... POD is a dumb trend or gimmick that only coins with ICO or IPO needs to reassure their community that the devs are not scammers. And look they advertise Razorcoin T-shirts on the 2nd slide of the page. Biased much? If anything it should be 'Proof of Development', which we will get as long as our devs pull off a successful August 30th launch. Remember our target market beyond the bitcointalk market...devs are clearly aiming to reach beyond this land of fudding and retards that buy into coins with features that OUR TARGET MARKET won't give a s**t about. This is clearly one of them. Proof of Development is all I need. This. This coin has been around for 6 months, we were down to 3 litoshi at one point... at that point it would've literally been easier to let the coin die and start a new one. We didn't do that now did we? We kept working hard (and we still are) to try to make our next release succesful Another thing is that we don't get paid at all for this project, it's all in our spare time, there is no premine, ICO, IPO.
