Ok right now I am using this card
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102948

running at 950core, 300memory, and 1.175v with 75C @60% fan speed.

I am using the newest GUIminer with 11.12 drivers

flags "-v -w128"

I am getting 284-287 Mhash/s

How can I increase my Mhash/s

Thanks,

I have 4 of these cards.  I also run them at the same settings and voltage.  I get about 293Mhash/sec in Ubuntu with cgminer.  You're not really that far off.

Yeah...  You could hit the 300 mark if you're not as concerned with electricity costs, but that's about as far as you're going to go without creating some serious heat.  The "Toxic" edition cards run at 960 with 1.188 volts.  The PCB and cooler is exactly the same.  If you want me to send you the BIOS, just send me a PM.

Except the voltage is high and the fans are probably screaming.  Wink

I ran my Gigabyte 6870s at 1000mhz for a bit.  They were pretty stable, but the voltage was cranked.

I run the directCU version of that card on the rig Im typing on now (my "daily driver" rig) with gcminer, 11.11 drivers, no flags aside from intensity and the flags for auto clocking, fan and temp limits. 1000 core, 900 mem 1.174 v. gives around 315 mh/s and temp is regulated to 74 C via cgminer. runs stable for weeks at a time, might go longer but I usually have to reboot for some unrelated reason or another.

I wound up replacing the stock TIM with artic cooling MX-2 as the stock stuff sucked, card ran way to hot for my liking before the switch.

cgminer 2.0.8, default settings. I have four of these 6870s, 305MHash each @ 950MHz. Default voltage.
I think your miner software is outdated.

Use v.11.10 drivers, phoenix 1.7.3 (-k phatk2 VECTORS BFI_INT FASTLOOP=false AGGRESSION=10) and run at  950core, 300memory and you get 310 Mhash/s
