CNBC covers Bitcoin Mining with two different miners here: http://www.cnbc.com/id/101586310

One's a basement miner with one partner and the other is a cloud hashing company with racks of miners selling shares.

Interestingly enough, most of the ASICs in the video for both miners are Cointerra and Butterfly Labs boxes.  I would have thought there would be some representation for Bitmain Antminers or others.

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.
