Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

Less than 1 bitcoin: Boy
1 to 100 bitcoins: Mate
101 to 10,000 bitcoins: Sir
10,001 to 1,000,000: Kind Sir
1,000,000 or more: ArtForz

Who's this guy I keep hearing about?  Does he hang around here sometimes?

For anyone unfamiliar with him, ArtForz is one of the biggest miners, who has a large number of 5970s and is working (last I knew) on custom ASIC chips to mine very efficiently.

He hangs around IRC more than the forums, AFAIK
