The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

Yay! I've been registered long enough that it will be my BitCoinTalk Berfday in less that 2 months! I will be a year old. And I want gridseeds and r9s and someone to make balloon animals at my party.

I just got the wallet installed no problems, and my miners are chugging away at dedicated pools. Props to them too, they have been on top of it lately with getting new coins up fast! I preregistered my account 2 or 3 days ago and have just been waiting for someone to say go!

Am I correct in assuming the airdrop will initially be ~90 coins per account?  What will happen with the remainder of the airdrop coins post-airdrop?  Will they be distributed equally to those who participated in the airdrop?  If not, what then?

All details at: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=581845.0

All the coins will distributed proportionately! From where did you get the 90 coins figure?

31,145,301.6 (49% of total coins) / 316,646 members currently listed.  That divides out to 98.36.  I lowered the assumption to 90, figuring maybe there was some accounting for burner accounts and late registers.
