Blockchain is still moving along strong and it's nice to see transactions moving along as well, even if those transactions right now are just from pools to the miners.  Hopefully we'll be listed on an exchange soon and you'll be able to trade away.

Unfortunately I found a slight issue with the diff calculation, to fix it I am pushing an update out which will require a fork, I set it to fork at block 600 and have updated the wallets and source code, please make sure you download the newest version of the wallet from the Original post and pool operators please recompile from github.  I apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.

Does the fixed wallet show the same version as the first one (v0.8.99.1-g1234abcd-beta)? It seems so... Or the download http://embargocoin.com/wallets/embargocoin-qt.zip hasn't changed (I haven't tried the other locations).
That is confusing...

Yeah, sorry about that, in my haste to fix the diff I neglected to increase the version number.  All the download links have been corrected and all files have been updated.  I'll make sure to increase the version with any subsequent changes that may come down the line, nothing in the works at the moment though.

Ah yeah, that guy.  Will be interesting to see what the market will go for, with the low total coins over the life of the coin it has the potential to be higher, and it might take a little while to see the true potential with the long block times, but it definitely makes it a harder coin to dump.

The scarcity and difficulty to get things are for sure affecting their price. But demand does also.
Currently there are sell orders at 0.002 BTC and buy orders at 0.00000601 BTC for EBG at https://coin-swap.net/market/EBG/BTC
Time will tell in which direction the price moves...

Yeah, I know personally I put in a low buy order to try and catch any EBG from people that just wanted to dump, but with the low supply right now I doubt we'll have many dumpers real low, which will be good.
