I'm going to be following some of the developments on Titan, am enthused about the project so far.

Feel free to post news you find, as well as opinions on development, impact on the scrypt network, etc. etc. What I'm really trying to do here is branch off of the KnC main BTC thread and focus on their scrypt product here.

For people who don't feel like keeping up with the whole thread, I'll be modifying the OP to add things that seem like significant developments. For now, the list is short...

KnC Announces Titan @ 100 MH/s (https://www.kncminer.com/news/news-79)
Performance Specs Revised to 250 MH/s (https://www.kncminer.com/news/news-80)
Performance Specs Revised to 300 MH/s & Mini-Titan Option Added (https://www.kncminer.com/categories/litecoin-mining-hardware)

Do you think these are better option than the fibonacci ones.
I was looking at the fibonacci one as they are open for pre-orders now.

All of them are looking very expensive now.
Hope they will come down a lot in round two.

I don't know... fibonacci appears like it could be legit, but they're running entirely from a forum thread? I lean KnC b/c they have already released one ASIC product, and have another that is about to release. Hopefully they've gained some valuable knowledge and experience about the fabrication process along the way, right? Would really like to have all of the fibonacci info digested into a website or something instead of reading a 300 page thread.

Edit: Found the website and am educating myself. Still like KnC for their experience.

Litecoin DEVs announced they won't be chaining the proof of work anytime soon.  Scrypt is here to stay.

This is great new for ASICs.

I was on the fence of buying, but now it looks to be ok.

I don't like that it pushes out small-time miners, but in the end it is a plus for the security of the network.
