All I have to say is whatever you do on this forum, use reputable escrow like escrow.ms = that can insure you will not get scammed.

Also avoid all the people who mention not using escrow, or the reasons not to use one.

My advice would be to start making online connections via Twitter. Follow @bryceweiner and find the other people on Twitter he communicates with who are active in the bitcoin community. Also, if you ever have used Meetup.com, there are bitcoin meetups all over the place.
