You can earn from signatures, only if you are a member or above. But meaningful income will come only if you are promoted to Senior Member or Hero Member.

Here is the time taken to reach each of the ranks:

Jr. Member:   Activity: 30, Takes 6 weeks time from registration.
Member:       Activity: 60, Takes 10 weeks time from registration.
Full Member: Activity: 120, Takes 18 weeks time from registration.
Sr. Member:   Activity: 240, Takes 36 weeks time from registration.
Hero Member:   Activity: 480, Takes 70 weeks time from registration.

Thanks was just about to ask how the ranks are determined.  Much appreciated.

Activity system is confusing. Took me a while to figure it out.

OK.. perhaps my language was  a little bit confusing. You can directly check the official thread:

Exactly.

Take PrimeDice as an example.
A member can get 0.0002 btc per constructive post while an hero member can get 0.0009.

Ritz has a horrible reputation.

I didn't follow the story closely. What happened?
I can only see he gets a negative trust for "paying people for spam and deleting negative posts" though.

They delete complaints from people that didn't get paid, they don't pay people because of "spam" (Which is usually when someone makes a lot of posts), their casino is not provably fair even though they say it is.
I have personally inspected some of the people that didn't get paid, and the unconstructive posts they made were minimal, like 1 every 100, but they still didn't get paid.

And what determines whether a post is constructive or not? Like is this post you have made going to earn you 0.0005BTC. Just curious

Constructive = Not spam

Spam posts are considered spam if they are just "+1", "I agree", "I like it", and things of that sort.
That includes applying for giveaways.
All other posts, such as this one, is not spam. So they are constructive.
