Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

Development
Clintar is working on binaries and build environment and has a partial solution to RAM usage. One thing I liked is the shortcut which runs the boolberry client with a seed node address by default.
Vishal is working on multiple development environments and this will make it easier for additional devs to contribute.
Wolf0 joined Zoidberg’s chat via invitation, good to see people that have been active in other crypto note projects taking an interest in the various efforts on this project. Wolf0 has made efficient mining software for a variety of algorithms.
Donations
One of the bitcoin debit cards finally arrived and donated funds were moved to is so that some services can be purchased.
Development Fund Multi-Sig address
We are doing a 3-of-4 address and there is one open key. The reason this isn’t complete is because I’ve been hoping one of the vocal critics in the community would take a key. This is largely symbolism and is becoming counterproductive at this point in time.
The current key holders are: - 1blockologist - javajared - crypjunkie -
Bitcoin donations would be requested to be sent to this address. Payment requests will be initiated by key holders and require the approval of two other key holders. A critic would at the very least be able to see what is being paid for, provide transparency via their criticism, and have more accurate arguments about what is or isn't being developed. Should be productive for everyone.
I sent crypto_zoidberg a message about the concept weeks ago, with instructions on how to join the slot. Despite the market confidence this would create, we don’t really talk. The next time people donate 200 bitcoin to a developer’s public donation address, at least you’ll have confidence that a consortium of people prevent unilateral absconding and year long disappearances with the funds.
Social Media
HootSuite is one of those services and is being used to manage the twitter account @BoolberryTeam. It uses the graphics developed by crz.
Currently crypjunkie and I have shared access. The advantage of a service like HootSuite is that multiple people can help manage social media accounts and avoids the fiasco of one person having unilateral access to a social media account, and avoids the problem of a contributor changing the password and taking over a social media account.
We’ll work on getting regular content there. Any social media savants can request access too and I’ll evaluate whether an extra seat on the service is warranted because this has a monthly cost.

I'm pretty sure Bittrex will only change ticker for a payment of like 2 BTC, so you would probably have to pay them another 2 BTC to get them to change it back I think it is 1.5 BTC but yes a waste of money since they must have just paid 1.5 BTC to change it to xbb ... .does the ticker even matter? so long as it is still called boolberry what difference does it all really make? I have been trading Boolberry for a long time and like bbr coin ticker. I dont see any obvious reason to change it, and even more so there is no reason to change it if you have to pay money for it. Vote for bbr, no need to change it to xbb.

Vote for bbr, no need to change it to xbb. it's already been changed to xbb.... no point spending 1.5 btc to go back to bbr ? then again i was used to bbr so it was a waste of money in the first place. Rather put 1.5 BTC into development pot. but then again who can even develop these kind of coins? - very few developers its seems and 1.5 BTC to those people is nothing. Take people like smooth who is able to code these types of coins for example. It is said his day job pays 500K + per year. I would expect CZ is on similar wages or projects that pay similar are taking up his time. The only way to get these coders to help is to give them big slices of the coins minting else it wont be worth their time coding here. If block can help do something that is great I support that. However bbr or xbb seems stagnated against teams of coders like xmr have working for 2 years. Of course I wish I had opted for xmr over bbr now but no point chasing xmr now we have missed the boat. I think more downside risk than up from here. I chose bbr strangely because I like the name and 2 people who know far more about crypto than I told me CZ was way ahead of the xmr coders in skill level for design for this kind of coin. They could well have been right but that didn't mean it was a better investment of course. BBR though could be viable if CZ really is as many say a designer and coder above those with xmr but how to get him back helping bbr now it is worth so little? That is the issue. I think the big whales holding millions of BBR need to give him a incentive like we give you batches of BBR based on work conducted. Then if he can turn BBR in to a 200M+ coin he will have a massive stash of coins to sell along the way. I never had many anyway sub 20k so I was a tiny fish but I sold most of it way before 90k. I think like many a concrete promise from CZ to return for say 10% of the minting delivered on the way to making bbr rival xmr then I would dive back in and so would most other people. Block has done very well in keeping people interested in the project it was like 5k -8k sats when he took interest and it went to 90k so even I have to say thanks very much for some nice returns on the cheap coins I bought at 5k-8k range. It would be good to see a collaboration with all of them working from a development pot even if CZ took the lions share and took 70% of the dev pot the other 30% divided to the other collaborators. Why CZ can not give any straight response on the thread when people asking him questions is quite strange though. CZ would you come back and work on BBR full time as your only crypto project for 10% of the BBR minting yes or no?? Also would you collaborate with other people trying to help BBR or prefer to only work on your own? Perhaps some can come from whales and some can come from a block tax introduced? would you do it yes or no? I don't think it gives a good message to the community when developers only want BTC and not the investment in the coin they are building value in. However I do understand developers need to live whilst coding in the value so perhaps some balance could be achieved here.

It should have been not just a coin, but big project that can put aside cryptonote itself, boolberry protocol can be implemented to improve speed and pruning blockchain which many coin suffer from(huge blockchain and syncing time)

I want to calculate how often I should find a block based on the difficulty and my hashrate but I don't know how. For example, with a difficulty of 207292497973 I'd need 1265 Kh/s to find one block a day based on http://bbr.mbkpool.info. But how is that calculated? For most coins the block finding frequency in seconds is: (2^32 * difficulty) / hashrate

The same, simple logic seems to apply to all Cryptonote coins.

That doesn't seem to work, or the pool's calculation is wrong. 207292497973 / (1265*1e3) is 163867 but it should be roughly around 86400 seconds (=1 day).

The pool estimates the hashrate based on recent shares, so it's unlikely to match the real hashrate (unless averaged over a long time).

For most coins the block finding frequency in seconds is: (2^32 * difficulty) / hashrate For regular cryptonotes the difficulty is just the expected number of hashes to solve a block, so you can estimate time to block by dividing diff by your hashrate and get an answer in seconds. Your answer is only off by a factor of two, and as teknohog said the pool side estimated hashrate bounces around a lot based on share submisssion, so I think it's close enough and boolberry is the same.

Can I get some people to test out mining with my proxy options at http://mining.blue/#getting_started to see if you have any issues? I'm wondering about how well it will work with a lot of concurrent connections. (shamelessly asking for hashrate, really) but I'd like to know if you use it and how well it runs. You can leave me a P.M. if you like.
