help karmacoin wallet not opening system error plz help

hi on opening my karmacoin wallet i get this error


karmacoin-qt.exe - system error

The program cant start because libgcc_s_dw2-1.dll is missing from
your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix it.


My question is if I reinstal the wallet will i lose my coins or not??
or what can i do to fix this??

hello,

first of all make sure you back up the "wallet.dat" file. that is the most important one. Then get the right wallet here

again. before you do anything. Make a copy of the wallet.dat in your /roaming/karmacoin/    folder.

then delete everything except your wallet.dat

install the new wallet qt.

if you get the same error then this means that your antivirus is picking up the libgcc_s_dw2-1.dll file as harmful. it shouldn't. you should momentary turn off the antivirus and re-zip the wallet zip file and run the qt
