i was scared of this coin at first cus of the premine but once i saw the way the dev distributed the coins it actually looks pretty good. I REALLY like that there were requirements, levels, etc. most coins do not have that...premined or not...seems like these coins went to GOOD hands. and we all know fair distribution is important to prevent dumping/whale feeding.

just threw 2.2 btc ($1500) at it. bought a million, in the 180-260 range. let's see what happens. =)

btw, I set a sell order at 1k. I bet it gets filled within 8 hours =)

This is just my speculation...but I am experienced in crypto...VERY...and based on what I have seen, as an early adopter of blackcoin, monero, and darkcoin,

I think we will level out in the 800-1000 satoshi range. I just bought a million of these, so I own 1.3 percent of the market, and I personally plan on selling at 1k satoshi, if that gives you an idea.

I bought all I could, I bought from 300 sats, all the way down to about 180. 

I now have a total of 120K ITC.  Looks like a good coin with a quick turn profit.

The trollbox FUD is unbelievable.

I was expecting the same, 800-900 sat range.  But no sells set, see how fast it goes up first.

I wonder how high will the price go.
I guess that the mechanism is always the same with every coin.
24 hours before being listed on Mintpal people start spreading FUD and set artificial sell walls in order to bring price down little bit, then the sell orders are taken, coin gets added and the price spikes to abotu 300% (sometimes much more, sometimes less).
If the current price is about 400 satoshi, after being listed on Mintpal it should jump to 1200. Let's be rational there, 5000 speculated by some would be too high and seems imposssible, and 700-800 speculated buy others is definitely too low.

My impression, which may turn out to be incorrect, was this was a perfect coin to sell on the rumor, but not the actual news. Meaning the best time to sell was 1-3 days ago.

The problem was for most of this coin's existence there hasn't exactly been much of a dev presence. It was sort of here is your freebie coin, let's vote to get it on MP, and that's about it. Anytime people are given coins for free, they dump. It's just a matter of when they'll dump.

I expect many dumped a long time ago, and perhaps bought in again cheaper. And primarily just in anticipation of dumping once more after it hit MP.

So that's why it's dump and dump...

That said, if the dev becomes active and adds some value to the coin based on that activity, sure, it could get to a decent level. Usually coins pump when there aren't a ton of people waiting to dump, so some patience may be required.

Again, just my observation. I could be completely wrong and it pumps tomorrow... nobody knows for certain.

you call it a "dump", but I call it an "early holders taking profit". it happens with everything. that happened with blackcoin, but look at it now, same with bitcoin litecoin, darkcoin, all of them. people have to take profit at some point, right? human nature is human nature. And yes, I am sure he would be more active now, we will see in the next few days, and I am sure the coin will go up in value as well, even if it was not for the good dev. (getting on mintpal + fair distribution = recipe for success)

A lot depends on the dev, but a lot also depends on the community as well. I think most of us here know what this coin is worth (most of it's value stems from the fair distribution, which is uncommon, even in good coins like blackcoin, I mean lets be honest), and we won't be TOO bothered by profit takers, or dumpers, as some say, cus we know they can only do so much. Unlike certain coins where a select few of the early adopters hold 75% of the coins lmao.
