guys... don't be trollish... i am asking for information that I obviously missed. What happened that a  legit coin drops so bad.

I was asking for "help" for my decision. I read something about problems with block explorer.....

the explorer works well.

I think part of the problem with the price is the fact there doesn't seem to be a ton of hype or news regarding the coin. It's just sort of sitting there, but not much news regarding other exchanges or uses for the coin yet.

That can easily change, and I suggest the dev try to be more proactive here just to let people know things are in the works. Coin prices slowly die off when people don't hear news, don't have any targets (like voting campaigns, marketplaces, merchants), or devs are silent regarding other coin features. The price can easily triple with just some of those things.

There is also of course the entire 'airdrop' problem, in that as people sell off, prices drop. I wouldn't think most people would sell at current prices, as there seems to be little point. I do admit I sold some of my coins (at around double the current rate), but that's just because I wanted to get into XBC a little bit, and am btc poor right now.

I think it'd help to get itc on another exchange or two, but the big boys (MP/Cryptsy) probably want to see more volume. Maybe Coined Up can be looked at next?

if poloniex takes the coin it will make a good impression, but then it is up to the dev....

poloniex makes a lot of coins big, before they move to mint pal

Did you mean MintPal? It's already on Poloniex. I think it's on Bittrex too, but it's a lower volume exchange. MP is where the coin would do well, just it'd require more volume... and a lot of votes.

from my experience poloniex is the leading exchange which encounters good coins first...

mintpal, cryptsy take over if poloniex is doing well

Yep. The exchange hierarchy currently seems to be something like Bittrex - Poloniex - MintPal - Cryptsy.

There is room for exchanges similar to Poloniex, in-between them and MP, as both CryptoRush and Coinex don't count anymore. It makes it hard for some coins, as it's either MintPal or nothing, after getting on Poloniex. I expect that to eventually change, just that it requires volume/votes at the moment for a coin to move up.

Votes for Mintpal were flying at first but seem to be slowing down now. Keep voting and people will take notice even if we don't get to the top right away.
