If the PoS phase is dependent on block number, not time, that means mining phase will be longer than 7 days?
No, the POW is based on block day, after block 30240, that will pure POS Right, but if it takes 10 days to reach block 30240, then POW = 10 days not 7. Either way, this will result in the same number of POW coins being generated before the POS takes over. Correct. 30240-7726(current block)=22514 blocks left 720 blocks in 1 day at 2 minute block time 22514/720=31.2694 days of mining remaining before PoS Can this be? |
