There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

Yes, price has dropped, but check the volume... it is not that there is mass selling going on. It is just lack of buy walls.

I think many people have overlooked this coin. I'm also a whitecoin supporter but way too much drama over there. I dont like that.

I'm glad I mined many, stake plenty more and now on the multipool Smiley

Buy those cheap YC now! Just wait till it hits a bigger exchange

Indeed, if you are a big bag owner then a little donation to mintpal can help us to hit mintpal. Now people are selling their coins as the 10% POS is finished, so they want to sell their stake, now the question is when will we hit a big exchange. I know (as i had a talk with someone) that there are a few investor groups looking at Yellowcoin. It are not the big groups, as they were talking about just 100BTC, but it is a good start to get it moving...

Will be hard to get first place on Monday Smiley With a little luck we can hit 3rd place by Monday. Spending 7BTC to win the vote is a little too mintpal friendly Smiley

Honestly i don't understand how it is possible that WATER and XXL has so many votes....They donate some BTCs, ok, but still those numbers really doesn't seems to be correct and i believe that a lot of coins has invalid number of votes. When you only can have 1 vote per hour, average say max 5 votes per day, 100 people voting per day that is 500 votes, and this is already really a lot... and then you notice coins with more then 20000votes, mmmm, very strange.... I hope they will review the winning coin before it got listed.

We are not Whitecoin  Grin They knew about the problems from the start and they dumped all the pre-mine coins when it was pumped, and then people notice the problems and start selling.

It is a non-Whitecoin plan, so it should increase exchange rate Smiley

I mean no offense but so far, the plans I have read here so far are how to increase the price of yellowcoin, mostly via being listed in major exchanges and be traded easily by traders, investors and speculators. And hopefully the price wil go up when big players jump on board.

Are there any other plans to add value to yellowcoin? Like how to become accepted by merchants as a viable cryptocurrency? Or maybe plans to make the foundation, structure, development and marketing of yellowcoin as stable and consistent as possible to project the currency as stable and reliable and not just another junk altcoin?

Also a question that is not just for DEV but is also for yourself, what are YOU (as community) planning to do for hitting Yellowcoin. It is not DEV that makes Bitcoin big, it was all the people around bitcoin, the community that makes it big. DEV responsibilities are to make sure they deliver the right information and try to increase the community base. The community is responsible for adding services for the coin. You cannot expect DEV to do all those things too, else he will be busy for 1000000 years.
