The grue lurks in the darkest places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.

Interesting.

What will happen to the unclaimed coins?

I love Coingen. ROFL

Pre-mined.

Most pre-mined coins will never be claimed and guess what its all for the devs to ump and dump.

I tend to stay away from pre-mined coins as often as I can. If you really want a fair launch then why pre-mine it? I say let the aussies mine it for themselves and that way they'll get more coins than just 1k per mobile phone supplied. I'd rather mine it myself then get more coins rather than supply my mobile phone details to feed you data mining activities. If ever I wanted to get some coins which I don't.

Sounds like data mining to me when you have to ask for mobile phone numbers to verify. Are you Sydney Bitcoins on FB (did a little research).

What are you saying you set up some rigs, I thought you mine with your CEX ghs at Trippleming?

Just a word of advise, you better have a look at the ATO site about creating another currency whether it regulated by them or not and the taxes that you are potentially to pay. I'd say do your research first before you launch your coin but I guess that's too late for you.
BTW I rang ATO and asked them about this and they're pretty interested in getting in touch with you. I'd say ring them now before they send out a summon.

Good luck with your billions and billions of pre-mined coins if ever an exchange would take this on and risk you dumping all the pre-mined coins. Lol

Well, 99% of people in Australia do not mine.  They don't know what win wallets are. If we don't do this, the miners will get all the coins and the Australian public zero.  We're trying to ensure the Australian public gets 50% of available coins.

The ATO can contact me anytime Smiley  We have nothing to hide.

We're trying to do fair distribution, which is not possible without reserving the coins.  Sorry if we offended your sensibilities.

Aussies, you can mine ozziecoins and simply email this coin to your non-crypto aware mates, so they learn something about the blockchain and how coins work.

International people can mine this coin and register (https://ozziecoin.com/faucet/register.php) to send ozziecoins to their mates in Australia and around the world also.

It's a friendly, free way for ordinary people to learn about cryptos.  We are absolutely the training wheels for people wanting to learn about cryptos and cannot afford to or are unwilling to shell out $500 for a bitcoin.

URL for emailing out ozziecoins: https://ozziecoin.com/faucet/default.php (visit with web or mobile device)

Might want to try and get this on an exchange and more people will pick it up!

x11, low diff, good intentions -- just needs some word of mouth.

Thanks for the advice.  We understand this.  We're sorting out our referral networks first.  This coin is 50% for the miners and 50% for ordinary people that don't mine.  Will be listing when we are ready.

We have been busy. Working on a a referral link feature that you asked for (at least those of you that have whitepages as your personal contacts list). (Joseph, I'm thinking of you!)

The referral link is ready. Post the link anywhere you like and people registering will give you 50 ozziecoins as a referrer.

Click on the "Earn OZCs" tab after you sign into the panel:

There's community spirit for you.
Do you have Crime Stoppers on speed dial too, just in case you see someone walking their dog off-leash or smoking at a bus stop?

FredDag you are spot on.  If we didn't do this coin, how are we ever going to get cryptocurrencies to the 99.99% of Aussies who find it all too confusing?  Let's get behind this effort to introduce digital coins to the public.
