Thank you for the updates, Ozziecoin.

Unfortunately https://www.minep.it is still offline and therefore my 100K+ mined Ozziecoin's look to be lost  Angry Angry

So sorry to hear that. We are working on our own mining pool. We will announce when ready.

Thank you for the update.

Was there any progress made with minep.it (that would allow OZC withdrawals), or should I just write that off as a loss?

We were not able to contact these guys from minep.it. Sorry.

We don't have any control over the pools mate, as they are setup by people we don't even know. But we reimburse you 100k from our private coins we have been mining. I think the important thing now is to have the support of people like you to make the coin succeed. Please let us know your ozziecoin address.

Hi guys,

We would like to hear your ideas to improve the coin and help us bringing more people to claim it.

We have at the moment around 300 people registered and earning 5,040,000 OZC every two weeks (around 18k OZC per person).

This is equivalent to 2 weeks of mining (625 OZC * 60 min/2.5min * 24hrs * 14 days). So, anyone with a Australian mobile number can register and earn 500 OZC and then earn 18k every 2 weeks.

If you stop and think this is an excellent distribution for the coin. I don't have the data, but i doubt bitcoin had 300 people mining the coin less than 1 year of existence.

At the moment we have been very busy and the biggest problem is time to dedicate to the coin. We are a team of 2 people only developing the coin and we have our jobs, family and many other things to do.

So anyone keen to help is welcome.

In our to do list at the moment we have:

- Compile a new wallet to MAC (the current one has a problem that stuck on block 115154).
- Improve the website
- Integrate Ozziecoin Market with Ozziecoin Panel. So people can claim, control and trade their ozziecoins
- Create a statistics page to show in real time number of people registered, market cap, etc

Let us know your thoughts.... any support and suggestion message is welcome. Useless posts will be deleted. We're still getting posts from people saying ozziecoin is a scam. We don't have any problem receiving this type of message, as long as it mentions why they think ozziecoin is a scam. So we can explain. Saying ozziecoin is a scam just because of the name "ozzie" is a useless post.

I completely understand, it's truly a shame as MineP.it had a lot of promise.

That would be appreciated, i've been watching this coin for a while now and was excited to be an early adopter/miner.
I've just downloaded the desktop wallet (previously all mined coins were in MineP.it so i'm unable to provide that address). The new wallet address is oKigqMcqW7G5c9GAuAbtwqh84p2o4XtzS3

Thank you in advance.

Can you confirm I can transfer coins to oKigqMcqW7G5c9GAuAbtwqh84p2o4XtzS3?  Is this address under your control?

Good work guys the wallet is great and I filled it with my free coins that you sent me.

A couple of questions,

How much longer is the free coin giveaway going to last?

The transactions seemed to work instantly, how did you do that?

Sorry the delay mate.

Yes. This is the right place to ask questions.

In regards the processing time of transactions, the only thing that we have changed compared to Bitcoin is that each block is created every 2.5 minutes in average. Bitcoin is created every 10 minutes.

The free coin giveaway will last until we distribute the total of 11.5 billions of pre-mined ozziecoins. At the moment we are giving 500 OZC to any person that register at ozziecoin.com/faucet/default.php and then, every 2 weeks 5.04 millions OZC are distributed equally to all registered people. We must have with an Australian mobile number to be eligible. People overseas still can use it as an online wallet and transfer OZC through email or facebook.

We are open to hear any ideas and any suggestions you might have to accelerate the process.

I forgot to explain why 5.04 millions every 2 weeks. This is exactly the amount of coins created every 2 weeks through mining. Given that:

- 625 OZC is the block reward.
- 2.5 minutes is the average time to have a block created.

625 OZC * 14 days * 24 hours * (3600 sec/hour / (2.5 minutes * 60 sec)) = 5,040,000 OZC

So every 2 weeks we have more 10,080,000 OZC in the market (5.04 M distributed + 5.04 mined). More 500 OZC given to new registrations.

Okay I haven't put much thought into it, but how about a giveaway/fundraiser to the bushfire victims in SA or any other disaster that happens in Aus

That's a good idea. But we don't want to be responsible for collecting any money. What we could do is to create a place on Ozziecoin Panel (http://ozziecoin.com/faucet/default.php) where people could upload receipts from Red Cross, Salvation Army, etc. So for each AU dollar donated we could give the equivalent in Ozziecoins considering Betasharex rate (https://betasharex.com/trade/OZC/BTC).

I have one question. Do you plan to go to some better exchange? This BETASHAREX is unresponsible. I have some problem, and ask them to solve that. They didn't solve that jet,and today is exactly 30 day from bigining of my problem. Last two weeks they don't answer on mails or support tickets page. All other exchanges where  I have same problem with login solved it in 24h.
So I really think that you need to find better exchange if you meen your coin to succeed.

Cheers and keep a good work

Yes! We are working to transform Ozziecoin Market into a really professional exchange. You will be able to buy and sell Ozzicoin, Bitcoin, and maybe even gold, silver and other currencies. We are checking the legal issues and how to guarantee the users that no fractional reserve is being used. We will update you guys soon with timelines.
