Hello,

This is a quick post to see if anyone is interested in a new Bitcoin service I am thinking about offering.  In short we will guarantee to buy back your BTC if the price falls, if the price goes up you keep the coins and bank your profit.

Using today's rates as a general example:

1. You buy 1 BTC from us for £330.
2. We guarantee to buy 1 BTC back from you for £300 within a month no matter what the price is.

If the price goes up you can sell the coin on the open market and take the profit if the price falls you can send the coin back to us and we will refund the £300.  The offer is valid for 30 days from the day you buy, after 30 days you cannot sell the coin back to us.

I have called it a risk certificate but it is essentially a buy back service.

Would anyone be interested in a service offering this?

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

You are selling a 'put option' together with your BTC.
