They are.  Not sure why - they do have some actual hardware; https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=225399;sa=showPosts .  Would have been better to get some good shots of those, unless they're vastly different from the finished product.. but they appear mostly spot-on with the renders.
