"In a nutshell, the network works like a distributed timestamp server, stamping the first transaction to spend a coin. It takes advantage of the nature of information being easy to spread but hard to stifle." -- Satoshi

GZ oj joining the team, but why are you promoting another coin in your sig, what would Archie Gemmill say? Cheesy

LoL, that's quite funny indeed. A new MaidSafe team member wearing a signature which promotes another project is sending out the message that team members of MaidSafe need to earn some dimes as bounty hunters for others because they feel that wearing a MaidSafe signature would be less useful. Not exactly the best marketing.

As the first batch of application of block chain technology to non currency field, MaidSafe has high research value and can be applied to various fields.

After the ICO in most cases, the course is set to free swimming and if the interest is not large, then it accordingly begins to sink, and people who have invested in seeing the situation with the fall of the rate begin to merge their acquisitions that's why it falls.

Today highest trading volume comes from HitBTC. Is it scam? Could we trust HitBTC? I ask because I've seen a lot of complaint against it.

For context, my dinner with the top-tier Rust developer/researcher was completely coincidental and occurred purely by chance.  He had no idea who I am and was (likewise) surprised I even knew the "very obscure" (his words) Maid project existed.
...
I approached the subject of Maid tactfully in case he was a supporter, but it turned out that we two dissimilar experts evaluating Maid from completely different backgrounds and areas of expertise still shared the common ground of concluding Maid is an embarrassment to much of the Rust community, Maid is not feasible, and Maid devs (should) probably know that but are happy to get a job.
Hi there - sorry I just noticed your post, I might just add a couple of words as a MaidSafe dev. Smiley Of course I am happy to have this job because the team is extremely hard working and knowledgeable, you can learn lots and lots of computer science and Rust-related things while working there. And I do think the network is feasible. What makes you believe it is not? What technical concerns do you have? I'll do my best to answer any questions you might have.

And to be honest I don't understand the claim about the "Rust community embarrasment" as I have not noticed anything like that despite being involved in the community myself. And even though someone might think that the network is not feasible - all code is open sourced and many of MaidSafe projects are not strictly confined to the SAFE network. You can use Crust, Utils, Self Encryption, and even Routing as building blocks in any Rust project and even invent your own network on top of these libraries. We also contribute to other open Rust projects, sometimes in the core projects like rust-libc, clippy, and the compiler. So why is it an "embarassment"? Smiley

Obligatory disclaimer: I'm not participating in this discussion in an official capacity and I'm not speaking for all of MaidSafe - only for myself.

Hey, welcome in this topic Nikita! I guess you won't convince ICEBREAKER of anything good about MaidSafe as he's trolling this topic for several years now  Cheesy. MaidSafe is bad in his opinion and that view needs to get out of his brain into his keyboard now and then.

The block explorer link on Coinmarketcap.com is broken and needs to be updated (probably to https://www.omniexplorer.info/asset/3).

Just FYI.

Is it planned to have more consistent updates on this thread or is it expected for all investors to follow up on the project on Maid's forums ?
