Gox BTCs are being laundered like there's no tomorrow with this MaidSafeCoin, they bought MaidSafe coins with them now they are selling them on the MasterCoin Exchange and there will be no more trace of them. The coins will be out to new fresh BTC addresses where nobody will ever be able to trace them again.

Thats how you make money:

1. Steal coins
2. Create some shit coin with exodus address
3. Send BTC to the exodus address
4. Sell the shit coins for new fresh BTC
5. Untraceble fresh new BTC ready to sell for dollars

TO ALL: Expect a major dump in BTC soon, if this is true, they will want to sell the BTC FAST, means they will dump

Wow, you are absolutely brilliant! You obviously must be a detective of some sorts. It looks like Karpeles has been planning this scam for a long time too - I see here he started checking code into Github back in 2012:

https://github.com/maidsafe/MaidSafe/commits/master?page=34

The level of ignorance in this thread is truly mind blowing.

The thing about GoxBTC isn't true. That was a bitstamp address.

After reading some more about this coin, it actually seems like a good idea. No wonder people invested this much. It's like investing in the Internet 2.0

If BitStamp, then large number of user errors??..

It is exciting and I wonder that one significant difference could be that businesses will use it, rather than just being individuals looking for an alt.

They've already done tests with the NHS! http://www.wired.co.uk/news/archive/2014-01/27/maidsafe-bitcloud
Quote
in trial tests conducted for the NHS ( which could do with a secure network), a MaidSafe enabled box to store DICOM images (x-rays, MRI scans, etc) was apparently able to reduce disk space requirements by 48 percent while operating at the same speed.

they laundered what 7000 btc. out of 650000 coins.

MY GOD FUCKING GENIUS!!! now they only need to do that same exact thing another 800 times, find a concept that has been being created for 8 years, a coin that has been going regularly to international bitcoin conferences for the last 3 months at least and then all those coins are laundered

And you think that the whole stock is being held by the same person?

What difference does that make?

None of what you said makes sense or is even true.

Bitstamp address not gox address.

even if it was gox related. 1/800th of the total amount of stolen coins is jack shit

considering

There are several other ways to launder coins that are 100 times easier than waiting for a coin that has been around and developing longer than gox existed. and going to international bitcoin conferences longer than gox has been down.

There are tonnes of facts that contradict most of what you say. Yet with blissful ignorance you plunder on talking random nonsense that has no link to reality , it doesn't exist except inside your own mind.

I hope this whole thing implodes and everybody gets fucked by MaidSafe.

I'm surprised you're so sour at Maidsafe when that error seemed to be the genius that was templar77. His thoughts don't suggest anything about Maidsafe as a project.

This was my sentiment exactly. Glad to see some rational thought going on in here.

There will be nothing like MasterCoin again, I remember when it was the exodus address time, I placed there 1 BTC, it was worth $100 at the time...

MasterCoin was only officially release 2 months later, they manipulated the price in such way that in the IPO this $100 were worth.... $20,000 BAM, biggest profit ever in % that I had in my life.

Sold $10,000 immidiatly, the rest I left there... Now they are worth nothing. Anyway from $100 to $10K effective profit in 2 months was a hell of an investment... bought a complete new furniture to my house with a hell of a 50" TV Cheesy

Nobody cares. Go troll somewhere else. First you berate the developers claiming they shut down the exodus address early (I did not verify this, nor do I care to), but then you go on to tell us all how you "got in yesterday, so you don't care." And then you continue your charade by laughing about 1 or 2 trades that executed under initial IPO price. Walking contradiction.

You're doing everyone a disservice here, but mostly yourself. See ya.

Here is what Maidsafe claim :

A new p2p Internet. Free and decentralised.

Here is what it is (so far) :

A copy of a 14 years old open source project named freenet.
A centralized closed source software that need you to trust the staff not to look at your data and sell it to NSA.
An incentive to centralize all the network because of the competition for money. As a consequence, your data could be deleted and lost.
An unfair IPO at a fixed max amount that force people to send in a hurry without checking the project.
A huge pump&dump manipulation for MasterCoin.

I was going to invest some BTC but changed my mind.

I must admit....they had 8 years to do this thing, and must have seen countless IPO's.

how could they screw it so much.

However the GOX factor is something that is hard to avoid. As one person put it is near unfathomable that one person could have so much impact on BTC.

I mean 1 Mark Karples >>>>> PBOC.... yeah think about that for a bit.

It reminds me of the mule in the foundation series.

I hope etherium is watching closely.

they should have chunked it out more eg. 500 BTC, then another 500 etc etc.

At the close of each 500, they examine the circumstances of those coins if required, and sort everything out.

Using msc and btc was plain stupid at a fixed rate. Its points to a possibility that some big MSC holders were give an exit strategy from MSC.

as far as I can tell MSC may be in serious trouble since btc miners and devs begin tapering back data that can be piggy backed onto BTC. Which of course they would, why would they let something come along for a free ride that essentially competes.

So MSC 2.0 will have to find a way to rewards miners. MSC 1.0 looks sorta dead.

If etherium can do its ipo right, it may be able to have apps written that do all of MS anyway.....

disclosure I invested in MS

From what I have seen so far, I'm 90% certain MaidSafe is a scam. I really wish it is not, because I would love the end product. But my instinct keep telling me it is.

Grin Dear JR,这次你来来回回高价卖出去不少msc吧?嫂子一定很高兴啊! Grin

Geez, um ok. Let's see. Google Translate says: "This time you are going to and fro many msc sell high, right? Sister-in-law must be very happy ah"

I have two sister-in-laws, who as far as I know, are blissfully unaware of most things bitcoin.

I suspect something got lost in translation there.

He means you offloaded alot of MSC at high prices, your wife must be happy.

what evidence makes you suspect 90% scam?

I mean it looks at the most like a development that has been in the works for many years. But using a coin to create a large amount more funding then previously before. It will most likely speed up and advance progress. It's the internet 2.0 with a coin attached. the only thing thats uncertain is where the coin would derive any value from specifically.
