I want Karma to stay relevant by keeping the community conversation going and active in one place.

bitcointalk is the place where most people go to find out all kinds of crypto currencies.
the community just isn't big enough to be broken up into different forums.

if this thread doesn't move then people just assume that nothing is happening with the coin and go elsewhere.

So lets come together and stay relevant.

As per anything regarding Karma...everyone can make and do things according to their preferences...that being said without meaning to offend anyone but rather to assure everyone that where ever you choose to stay in contact and updated about Karma community, we will always try to spread relevant issues there. Be it in the NEW FORUM, here, facebook pages and groups...

No one can force any one's will on anyone, it has been tried time and again and it has been always futile.

So the same goes for the future ideas and projects...start your ideas to push more Karma usage, inform us and let us rejoice together.

So hows it all going over there everyone?

I'm working on a project that will hopefully benefit Karma... I'd like to know that people are still around when I launch because I want to accept Karma as payment from day 1...

One thing that was always great about this community was the enthusiasm and willingness to help each other out and remain relatively free from scandal.

I will be releasing more information when I am closer to release date, still a couple of months away so don't hold your breath.

Just checking to see that the people are still around and still want to be part of a healthy and active community..

I have not stopped mining by choice, but the xhash pool stopped working a while back and so it seems has the Multipool one since 5 days ago.
https://chainz.cryptoid.info/karm/#!network shows that people are still mining away, are these all solo miners? Any pools still working?

Hi, is there something up with the blockchain.

It says "Current Number of Blocks 672295"

And

"Estimated total blocks 783128"

And then goes into "0" block non-syncing stuckness?

you get that message because the estimation algorithm is wrong so it thinks there are more blocks then there actually are.

At the time of this writing the current block is 674627

if you don't have any connections you can try the following commands in your console:

addnode 92.222.38.197:9432 add
addnode 188.165.2.147:9432 add

they are two nodes active right now.

Those nodes are already added?

Sometimes, it syncs up without the error and other times it does not. Also, Cryptsy is having problem clearing deposits for Karmacoin.

thanks for the heads up.. in the past it has taken quite a long time (almost a full day) for a karma deposit to show up in cryptsy.
I suspect there are issues because there aren't many active nodes on the network.. in order to make the wallet run smoothly people should really sync their wallet at least once a month.

the port numbers are all different.. those don't even look like Karma nodes.
maybe somebody added a whole bunch of garbage addresses to your client or you picked up the wrong peers.dat file from someone.

subver should be Satoshi:0.8.6.5

I'm thinking about making a series of fully narrated "How-to" videos for crypto-currency newbies on how to use the wallet and secure their karma etc..

anyone keen to see this happen?

if you have links to any nice artwork I can use please let me know...
