Seems like a "test pump" on the Karma markets. Not sure we are ready for a big pump just yet, but I suppose I might be the only one who feels that way  I think we're still a bit early for a major pump right now. When the projects take off and we can see what they are bringing in, I can see a real pump happening. Right now people are just reacting on speculation. I do see it probably jumping up and down a few more times, but will likely keep returning to the 33-35 range. |

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

A slow and steady rise builds confidence with the most qualified of investors. That would be ideal, but there is going to be market manipulation going on until the cost of doing so is no longer viable. We're still in a period where the coins are cheap enough that even a 1 BTC investment can take the coin up and down like a rollercoaster. Make it 10 BTC and it's even bigger. Over time that won't be possible as easily, but right now we just have to deal with it. |

LTC having a ride upwards now - Expect KARMA to shoot up with it. EDIT: Karma already at 54 Litoshi on Cryptsy and Mintpal following! Stock up now before the big push. |

It's a miracle that Karma is stil so low. We're stil behind so many pure crapcoins. Exactly. People here are calling it a pump n dump - It is not. It is a correction to a fair and reasonable price. Everyone here has been preaching for weeks how undervalued Karma is - well folks, its finally going up and it aint going down any time soon EDIT: For comparison, DRK is a pump n dump - It's an attempt by a consortium of huge BTC whales to regain what they lost on Blackcoin, a couple of people whose names will not be mentioned screwed the entire Blackcoin community and cost a lot of people a lot of money. LTC and BTC are going to keep going up because those are the only currencies that you know are safe as houses. Karma is also going up and will continue to go up because it represents a genuine opportunity to make a very nice return due to it being undervalued and unknown. If you dump your coins expecting it to return to the 31 litoshi you're dreaming. Hold your coins if you're a true Karma supporter, buy more coins if you're a true Karma believer. |

Notice this idiot has been trying to stymie the rise of Karm all day - constant lowball sells up to 10 Litoshi lower than the next lowest sell order and often straight someone buys. Be aware that someone is trying to keep the coin off the radar for as long as they can to try and suck up as many coins as they can before we go to the moon. |

GPU miners will leave before ASIC miners do because GPU is about 10 times more expensive to run than a Scrypt ASIC. and we don't want all the miners to leave now do we? that would be very bad indeed.... more miners + cheaper more efficient mining gear is what we need.... so that everyone can run a small unit under their desk and not have to worry about huge power bills. I think you are reading too much into it. not everyone has the time to wait around for their sell orders to fill while the other coin they want to buy skyrockets. (yes there are foolish people who let greed get the better of them and chase rallies) not everyone thinks as deeply about the purpose of a coin as the people here do.. (especially the non English speakers who cant even read the forums) the evidence i have seen suggests that the manipulation is actually upwards not downwards. and though I cant say for certain that somebody isn't trying to keep the price down I think its more likely that people are just taking profits where they can. honestly if people with GPUs can still mine this coin and turn a small profit.. then people with ASICs are making a killing on this coin. |
