some one link me to a scrypt pool that is hashing still ?
karma.mpos.altcoin.dk

i didn't feel like moving it over since i am the only one hashing there... and i haven't stopped my cpuminer on my server so i am hashing 40kh/s on the scrypt chain.

Please don't. We have already forked to x11 Smiley
It will be switched to x11 when I feel like it. It has no impact on the fork. If you're very nervous about it I can halt new registrations until it's switched over or shut down.

but you are not finding any block correct? all going rejected ? like orphans

also http://karma.p2pool.altcoin.dk/

the hash stats are off. i am mining with 33 h/s?

oh i am not really sure about that... i have very low hashrate, it's been >40 hours since the pool found a block.

edit: just fyi it looks like the global hashrate on (the now defunct) scrypt is 2.1GH/s

removed this pool form the working pool list. Let us know when you set it up to mine x-11.

So as i don´t understand how to use the p2p pool i will point my lone warrior towards xhash!
On a side note, the Spanish thread was updated. Feel free to check it out whenever you want. Maybe you want to practice your Spanish? You are welcome to the family Smiley

no p2p pool helps the network..

all you have to do is go to your wallet. create a new address to receive coins. copy that address

go to your miners. make a new .bat file with

cgminer --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://p2pool.altcoin.dk:9435 -u place your new address here -p pass

that simple. p2p pool do not keep your coins. they get payed as soon as they mature. this prevents any wallets from owning all the coins.

Thanks for your help! It's alive Cheesy!
Now if i could only fix the miner to send shares according to the 0.02 diff limit only so i don't get too many rejected hahaha...

UrsaM... note P2Pools have a higher reject rate and this is normal. Also payouts will take a while to begin, maybe it will feel like too long but stick with it for 24 hr at least, the payouts will even out. (works the same way if you leave p2p after receiving at least one payout... payouts continue for a while even when you're not mining, then they dwindle and stop). The more people that mine here the better for all because the payouts come faster. Once you get past the scary bits, P2POOL RULES!

when the dust settles later today i will make sure the karma-modified p2pool source-code is posted on github so you can make your own pools.

I've informed Wafflepool:
This from MP news section:
Jul 31 8:22 PM Just a reminder that KARM will switch to the X11 algorithm at block 255,000. That's in less than 180 blocks!

Apparently this switch has already occured as their X11 multi-port see's this as most profitable and has just recently switched to KARM ...

We have forked Karma, obviously there are 2 forks. Exchanges and everyone else has agreed x11 is the correct fork. Blocks will always be mined under the old scrypt algorithm however they are worthless because no exchange or anyone else for that matter will accept them as being valid.
If there are 2 forks, it probably means it is working correctly. I'm sure Kosmost (the lead developer) will confirm soon.
It will take sites several days to update their information. The Karma Team have advised all the sites they could think of and I'm sure they will be sending reminders to those sites over the next couple of days.

Here's my sgminer line for p2pool. I'm running the sph-sgminer that has the x11mod speedup... if you don't have that then try -k darkcoin. But if you don't have it, it's worthwhile to get because 50% greater hashrate.

./sgminer -k x11mod -o stratum+tcp://p2pool.altcoin.dk:9435 -u K9tJpbTMnaRV4AsiTXszySFN8dZxFrMxWb -p x -g 2 -w 256 -I 15 --scan-time 1 --expiry 1 --queue 0 --auto-fan --temp-target 78 --temp-overheat 82 --thread-concurrency 8192 --gpu-engine 1070 --gpu-memclock 1600

Hey gang, on the new wallet (0.8.6.5)... I installed it, used my wallet backup, started it up, and it synched everything real nice. But I don't see an option to unlock the wallet. Should I have backed up my wallet from old when it was unlocked?

I am mining with this command:

minerd -a X11 -t 6 -s 4 -o stratum+tcp://karma.p2pool.altcoin.dk:9435 -u KCYgFhUFnVVjqG7RG3XGburtYSkKPy8Tzs  -p aaaaaaaa

Why I can't see my stats on http://karma.p2pool.altcoin.dk ? How can I find if I am mining correctly?

That page still shows -a scrypt mining instructions. Is it dead pool? Or just the info web and stats are not correct?

hmm strange. how long has it been since you started mining. i am mining there now. with 6 mhs. have mined about 6k coin so far. i see an other 4k on its way.

few coin for now since not a lot of miners are on it and its not finding as many blocks. Hopefully soon it will pick up and start mining with higher hashrate

Seems the case. Just replace the new wallet.dat with the old one.

I think my profiles are all good im using the latest dev sgminer.
