Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

You can find everything in the white paper http://bluecoin.io/blueprint.pdf . Only the dates are not set. Bluecoin is cryptocurrency that went live in 2014, and as you can see from initial post, changes and improvements are constantly implemented. It is fast and secure, and what is best underpriced currency.

Premine 3% for growth bounties, network maintenance, and coin expansion.

you forget the only thing to which this premine will serve

Thats what they all say!!!...ill pass

Prove it.. put it in escrow

3% premine really isn't that bad, even if it was a founders fee. It costs money to set-up and manage a project like this.

Hello
I have a bluecoin wallet back from 2014 when I started mining. Abandoned mining for some years (family/work) and just realised I still have it. I can't seem to do a -repairwallet. Could anyone try recovering it? Would happily give half the content as a reward. Right now, for me, some coins is better then nothing.

Thanks

Could you be more specific about what is exactly your problem? I will help if I can, no reward needed. You can also come to telegram chat https://t.me/joinchat/CB8D9A8jicz78p02QWTI6w
Someone will probably have a solution for you.

Hi,

Is this coin dead or not? Who has experience with the behaviour of the developers and who is behind this project?

cheers,

Yes, it is very much alive. Although, developers are not entertaining us every day on this forum, they are working hard to implement improvements.

Yobit isn’t trading BLU anymore?  I’m locked out of my account, I hope they didn’t dump my BLU.

What eXchanges are trading Blu right now?
livecoin.net

Thanks.  Now I gotta get into my Yobit account and hopefully my coins are still there.

Big Vern stole my 50,777,777 BLU, I hope Yobit didn’t steal my paltry 100k.

Did you get your coins? Their rules suggest you only get 14 days to withdraw your coins after they close a market. However they are quite vague.

Sorry, I was mistaken. It's still listed in these markets. Your 100k coins are safe, provided you can get back into your account.

Though slowly, but I still hold BLU coins because I'm sure that someday the price will soon skyrocket. I will wait until april to hold or sell.

You should probably add some nodes in order to sync.

Coins generally feel good, and the overall price is showing an upward trend. Developers are still working hard. We should support this project more.

I've seem some stupid things from miners but throwing 706,766.88 MH/s  at a coin that only generates about $1,200 in coins a day ranks near the top.

They should take their hashing power and go after Digibyte that generates $742,820.11 in a day.

LOL
