It's not just the wallets being under maintenance, the BLU blockchain hasn't moved in like 2 months.  So you couldn't get your coins out even if the wallets were up and running.

I hate these accumulation games.

You'd think 10% whales would have a say....   Wink

Cryptsy is dead.  Only worthless coins have made it out.

Current Bluecoin blockchain is hanging out at CryptoChainer.com.  Maybe no one got their BLU out of Cryptsy yet, but there is hope, if we keep the blockchain alive. "I'm doing my part!"

I am having problem with my wallet. Tried it on 3 different windows computers and get the same crash error.

unhandle exception at 0x004945C
Asses Violation writing location 0X00000088

I ran it thru a debugger and this is what it showed

Line 004945C6     lock  cmpxchng    dword ptr[egi], eax

I've ran repair on it and it says all keys are fine but may have incorrect transactions.    Then it goes to rescan and after a few minutes of that, it crashes to desktop

Being that this is happening on 3 computers rules out a bad memory spot on the computers. 2 are 64 bit win 8.1 and 1 is 32 bit win 7

Is there a way to extract the keys w/o having to fix the wallet so I can import into a fresh wallet ?

Any plans to move off X11 algo, with the new ASIC X11 miners, about $1,000,000 is going to robbed from the X11 system in BTC and dollars to pay for the new mining equipment.

And, who wants to be a victim of robbery! LOL

Whilst, the GPU miners don't have to take out BTC and Dollars to get a rapid return on their investment, because their investments last for 3 years.

Bluecoin blockchain updated on CryptoChainer.com.  This is a large blockchain, and takes forever to sync.  In our case, the wallet takes quite a while to load.  I don't believe it's on any exchanges, and I have tried unsuccessfully to get Yobit to fix their wallet in maintenance.

We are looking into the problems with the coin.

First we are starting by putting some more staking nodes online to see if this mitigates the lock-down issues.

We will also be watching the network logs closely to see if the PoS algorithm is failing us.

In other news we are now listed on a new exchange!

If you are having issues connecting/syncing to the wallet please download this conf file and transfer it to your %appdata%\bluecoin folder! I have also repackaged the windows release to include the CONF file. You must move it to your %appdata%\bluecoin folder for it to have effect!

We have been been using our own custom built PoS-v algorithm for almost a year now! There's no more mining, only staking (virtual mining)!

It definitely sounds like your wallet is corrupted. You dump the privkeys on BLU the same way you do it with BTC. http://bitcoin.stackexchange.com/questions/4203/how-can-i-export-the-private-key-for-an-address-from-the-satoshi-client

We have messaged YoBit and are still waiting for a response..

We are ready to help get their wallet off maintenance mode. If you are trying to get coins into YoBit write them and tell them you want the BlueCoin wallet fixed!

BlueCoin Version 1.4 Changes

https://github.com/bluecoiner/bluecoin/

1.We've cut the annual inflation rate down to 5% per year at block 1,670,000.
2.Updated checkpoints.
3.Updated several BOOST libraries.
4.Enhanced OSX compatibility.

This fork gives everyone roughly 30 days to take advantage of the higher inflation rate before it gets cut in half forever. Windows and Mac wallets for version 1.4 are on the way! Several announcements are coming regarding a mobile wallet. We will be alerting YoBit about the upgrade and make sure they are on the right version of the coin!

Cheers,
BlueCoiner

Cryptsy is dead.  Only worthless coins have made it out.
I have received several messages recently from people who've told me they have BLU locked up at Cryptsy. Judging by the addresses on the BlueChain that have high transaction volume, there could be up to 50 million Bluecoins locked up at Cryptsy. That is just addresses that we know about of course, they could have many millions more in cold storage. There were many BlueCoiners who unfortunately kept their entire stashes at Cryptsy instead of their locally hosted wallets. Hopefully, Cryptsy reimburses their alt-coin users in full as none of the alt-coins on Cryptsy had to do with their Bitcoin hack, but that may just be wishful thinking on my part.
