According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

Difficulty high, miners jumping out chain, should smooth out dramatically after block 50,000

well but this coin looks good..
It should get accepted by different stores all over the planet, then u would see a nice grow in the price Cheesy

Also on coinmarketcap this coin is rising step by step on the list everyday

OFc this is not because of the name bluecoin, but about the activity and progress this great dev team is making!
My well respect for the dev's, u guys are showing great work. Keep it up

+1

Blue is under freaking valued. People don't want to follow great devs, they want immediate cash pump and dump hype. Those people will lose, and real crypto followers will gain. I've already seen a rise in my ROI from investing early on back when blue just started out. The price has been up, and expected to grow, and all this because of real organic growth, and because of a solid dev and backing from a real community.  Let's take this time to appreciate what we have in front of us, and help make blue an iconic service.

Investors love gaining interest on coins. 5% interest is a big deal to investors. Who wants to help contact some press and media?

It's time for people to see in the crypto community, what blue is all about.  Can we get some people spreading BlueCoin's message around the web? social media? reddit?

So in order for a 51% attack to take place with BlueCoin 51% of mining and 51% of coins need to be held by one entity?

Wow interesting.

Can anyone explain in detail why that is?

BLU uses the ASIC resistant X11 algorithm which runs 30% cooler on graphics cards and makes developing an ASIC a very difficult endevour.

With its unique X11/PoS hybrid algorithm BLU takes advantage of a dual block verification process requiring an attacker to hold both 51% of the supply AND 51% of the hashing power.

X11 is ASIC resistant algorithm?

Just multi-hahsing algorithm.

And 51% of the supply is need to attack pos ??

I really shocked about your saying  -__-

and unique ? Jackpot is the first hybrid coin.

Investors are needed to think about this coin -_-

X11 is ASIC resistant as of 7/31/2014. The day that someone is able to develop a cost effective ASIC for X11 we will have upgraded to something even better.

Also, we're claiming that we're the first X11 / PoS hybrid coin. Jackpot is not the first PoW/PoS hybrid coin and neither are we, that coveted title belongs to our dear friends at http://www.peercoin.net/.

We're simply utilizing what they invented and taking it a step further by integrating a multi-algorithm hashing model that is efficient and ensures for a decentralized ecosystem.

Thanks for your concerns.
