Lets get listed on coinedup.com and btc-e Smiley

Great idea Smiley what practical steps would you propose to achieve that? Voting? it's a community effort and the community needs to be much much bigger than it is at the moment to make voting effective. Buying it? not with the foundation money as these are peanuts comparing to what would be needed to be listed there.

A lot depends on the Diamond users to do some foot work and a bit of posting here and there, spreading the word about this coin. This is the best promotion Diamond can have at the moment.
If you use Twitter, just repost some Tweets from @dmdcoin .. this alone can push promotion a long way, you would be amazed.
I think some solidarity action is always a good way forward.

We will be successively working on speeding up the wallet and adding new functionality to Diamond to have more 'sex appeal' that most people are after. For now coin mechanics is what attracts people and with early adoption gold period starting in a couple of days it gives double incentive.

At the moment we are aiming to be traded for Euro directly but these things also depend on the 3rd party, however I strongly believe it will happen some time in the future (not immediate but also not distant).

I've sent an email to coinedup.com requesting DMD be added with a link to OP.  I got AUR/BTC listed months ago on coinedup Smiley

As far as btc-e is concerned I have read in several other forums that bribery is used LOL.

CRYPTcoin and DaRKcoin managed to get listed on mintpal.

Hi.
I looked up on the information about Diamond on the cryptsy exchange https://www.cryptsy.com/currencies/view/56 and did not find links to the official site DMD. You have to ask them to edit information.
Also there is an wrong algorithm  scrypt instead Groestl, fix it sooner the better.
Thanks.

Well, yes, we have informed them a few times about it, and each time they said they would do it .. not sure how to influence them. I suppose if several people continuously nagged them about it then they would.
I'll give it a go one more time , however this time I will do it for them - give all the info as it appears on the webpage so all they would need to do is just copy paste it.
Hope this works this time.

-tb-

Right.

Diamond uses number of coins and not number of blocks as a trigger. It's unique to Diamond that's why it may have caused this confusion.

Please follow money supply (which is of lower value).

So, I have to unlock the wallet for minting to work, once it starts, right? If I use the "unlock wallet" button, is still says "Info: Minting suspended due to locked wallet".

EDIT: nevermind, the info goes away after some minutes. 230 Blocks now...

There are still a lot of nodes using pre-2.0.2 version of wallet. These will get lost as soon as other nodes start generating PoS blocks.

Sucks for them but this was announced with plenty of time ... upgrade to 2.0.2.1

Sure there will. It will be coded in with the following releases, as Diamond will be progressively becoming more of a PoS coin.

The only way to see if PoS is working right now is either to experience it first hand or by using 'tail' command (Linux) to follow debug log real time and observe stake attempts. Also, you can always use 'getdifficulty' command in the QT console to check the network difficulty and if it's anything more then the lowest 0.000244 it aslo indicates that staking is taking place. It takes time, however, for the stats to update.

Unfortunately I'm away from the computer so cannot verify anything Smiley but I'm glad the waiting time is over and we can move on.
