How many trades do you need on mintpal to be able to vote?

As far as I'm aware just 1 is enough.

Seems we are jumping around with other coins a bit, as we dropped back to 183, but voted up to 182 again.  Smiley

OK, Ladies and Gents!

Those of you who thought that working Proof of Stake means the end of the show, think again..

In the Diamond kitchen a lot of steam and a lot of stirring, busy busy master Chef preparing some eye popping, jaw dropping speciality.

As Diamond’s first birthday is due soon, I could not imagine the better present for this occasion than the one that’s being prepared. What it is will remain a mystery for the time being, not to spoil all the joy we’re all going to experience once it’s revealed.

However, while the birthday cake is being baked we as the community can make a nice candle that will be lit and put on top of that cake. Ohh.. all those metaphors.
The candle we have in mind is a new Statistics Tab that is going to be included into the next wallet release. And the release is literally round the corner!

You as the community will have your say in what should go into that new Statistics Tab, what would you like to see, what features you have seen somewhere else that you wish Diamond had.

This can concern mining, minting and whatever comes to your mind… Smiley

Ideas can be posted either here or on the community forum http://bit.diamonds/community/index.php/topic,17.0.html :0

If you add anonymous transactions diamond would be very good coin.

WTF Huh Now Mintpal says "Error you must have a larger trade history to vote" ... I have made 2 trades yesterday.  I don't have any trades I want to make there today so no votes for me.  I think we should concentrate our efforts on Bittrex Smiley  Getting a reply from them in my email is encouraging Smiley

If you add anonymous transactions diamond would be very good coin.

in my position as chief visionary officer
let me share a vision

stage1: lot coins will die because lack of dedicated dev teams and community support
stage2: btc some surviving first gen coins and 2nd gen coins will be very successful
stage2: cryptos legitimated and regulated by countries and laws which split existing coins  in legal and criminal coins
stage4: surviving legal coins together with government created crypto coins are replacing more and more fiat. unified wallets are able handle nearly all existing coins no matter if the where born first second third or last crypto generation. people trade between coins as in pre crypto age shares of different companies where traded. a handful criminal coins are left and represent the dark side of cryptos and society.
stage5: the diamond sponsored sharks are winning the superbowl every player of the team earn a full 1 DMD bounty

and u know diamond is always on the bright side not in the shadows

I have been voting earlier today ... now it seems you have to make a trade to add 1 vote and previous trades don't count.  They are now using a trade counter vs vote counter ... Suck! LOL

Seems they seriously took that bot voting prevention .

Well, as for Bittrex, I was for that option until I saw this:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=635824.0

If the trading volume is low they would pretty quickly kick us out, which would add a lot of uncertainty to the equation. No one likes uncertainty.
Because Diamond does not trade in huge volume and if we were potentially traded on a few other exchanges that would be almost certain we would be in trouble.

in my opinion goal shouldnt be as many exchanges as possible but only 3 well selected
we cant defend if more add us but we shouldnt aim for it

in my opinion this 3 should be

1. cryptsy
2. mintpal
3. one major chinese exchange

if someone in community  can translate and support a chinese ANN Diamond  thread that would be great news (or have connections to someone who could do)

Agreed, who is that anonymity service for anyway? Are majority of people so paranoid of being tracked down and why? Let Darkcoin be drugs coin no need to make Diamond one of them. If a government wanted they would find out of what goes where anyway as all that anonymity is an illusion. They are just not bothered to spend resources on some guys buying pot online.

To the rest of Cryptonit points.. I'm looking forward to times when 1 DMD is diamonds worth Smiley

Hi.
Before you try to conquer the market, need to create the normal blocks explorer network, transaction history, and all the details, including the ability to see the big purses with Diamond. See how it looks in other popular coins.
Any DDoS attack and people immediately lose the ability to see what is happening with their transactions. For serious approach is not acceptable.
look at the http://www.coinwarz.com/cryptocurrency now just such a situation.

Sure,
Block Explorer based on ABE is already done just needs some polishing before it's released.

The situation with Coinwarz is that they've just updated the wallet to the newest 2.0.2.2 version .. so they need to redownload the database.

Poor fellas, new 2.0.3 wallet is approaching so they will have to do it again soon Cheesy

In the mean time.. make your wishes as what to put into Statistics Tab .. it's really up to you community what's going to be there, you make the history.

Of course, lets not kid ourselves, it's not going to happen any time soon but the trend is that Bitcoin is going to explode in price as demand grows due to it entering the mainstream markets. For Diamond the path is going to be the same. We can only create some services but the real world application of Diamond will indeed require 3rd party involvement and investment.
