Will this indicate a price rise soon more than now? What will happen if Roger Ver has the other idea of not supporting XMR? Speculations play key role in driving price.

He sounded very bearish on bitcoin in the interview. I would expect him to be looking for alternatives.

Hello everyone.   Roll Eyes

My name is fuzzy from Beyond Bitcoin am an advocate of blockchain technology.  Communities are something that have captivated my life for 15 years now and blockchain technology has done the same for over 8.  Many of you here are able to shake your heads and say the same.  Many are not.  But one thing we can all say is that we wield super hero powers over our own value in ways, perhaps, that no other humans who have come before us.   And because of that we have essentially formed a guild of people who are passionate about using it to uplift and help society at large.  I guess the end boss is our own dark side...but that is another discussion.

This project has has piqued my interest for quite some time so it is my intention to ask you to consider RSVPing on the Beyond Bitcoin hangout to talk about Monero.  Every crypto nerd here please consider joining us, and @thread moderators--Please consider RSVPing and asking those who support your project to upvote it.  I will certainly upvote it if people from this project's community should choose to join and represent.

Please consider joining us via the following thread: https://steemit.com/beyondbitcoin/@officialfuzzy/guest-signups-beyond-bitcoin-hangout-170-8-26-16-rsvp-to-friday-s-hangout-ask-q-s-suggest-topics-or-promote-your-favorite

All instructions are there to join as a guest speaker, or simply to get into the mumble server (which is free for any coin community to use).

Thank you for your time and I look forward to (hopefully) giving our audience a chance to learn a little more about how Monero is a wonderful privacy coin and why you believe it is valuable.  And if anyone wants, we are also looking for representatives for monero's community to do hangouts so others will be able to continue learning about the project.  So if you are interested in this I will give you a free room to have them where everyone can record and will even upvote your content on steemit.  Most hangouts receive 20-50 dollars even on bad days...so if you are someone who loves creative commons, community and blockchains, email me at beyondbitcoin@gmail.com!

Greg Maxwell calls Monero a "low value toy grade system":

[20:32:30] <gmaxwell> which is really the only prudent way to do it, any other way will result in a build config that is totally untested-- people with no linux expirence can usually follow the gitian instructions.
[20:33:30] <jwinterm> msys2 and cmake work ok for monero
[20:34:07] <gmaxwell> jwinterm: doesn't mean the resulting system is actually consensus consistent.
[20:34:39] <gmaxwell> you can get away with a lot with a low value toy grade system.

This boy is just playing the market. And doing well because of it.

Anyone with any sense has been bearish on BTC for months.

Without seeing the entire conversation, it looks to me like Greg was essentially saying, "Use a virtual machine when checking out downloaded software.  You can even use a low-grade system to play [toy] with the software."

I didn't see this as a slight on Monero...just advice that low-grade systems can also be used to test software in a VM.

but I've made several fixes to that, which you can find here https://github.com/hyc/wolf-xmr-miner/tree/daemon

Can you provide Windows binaries? Are there any known issues when building for windows?

Sorry I can't, and I don't know anything about building this on Windows.

I'm curious how a currency like XMR is allowed to trade on Polo. How can they comply with KYC and AML given the fundamentals of XMR?

You asked this elsewhere as well.  My answer there was that no legal tender is involved.

Give a man a fish and he eats for a day.  Give a man a Poisson distribution and he eats at random times independent of one another, at a constant known rate.
