One of the main things making Bitcoin unrealistic for mass adoption and everyday use by the average person is the price volatility. A sort of transition needs to be made to have something on the Bitcoin network that can be used for everyday use. That is why I have built on top of the bitcoin protocol to create an alternative within the Bitcoin network that will stay stable and not have massive price fluctuations.

Bitcoin Stabilization Protocol

+

Stable Bitcoins for everyday use

BSP is a new protocol built specifically for making a stable version of Bitcoin that can exist on the Bitcoin protocol. With this you won't have to worry about losing half your wealth overnight while this may not seem attractive to an investor this is ideal for someone that just wants to spend there money freely and not have some central organization controlling there funds.

More details on the technical side of how BSP works will be made available in due time.

Do you think BSP will greatly improve the chance of mass adoption?

The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

Isn't this in essence a coin that is pegged exactly to an equivalent in USD?
