The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

great coin... I think it will be for both CPU and GPU mining?

I'm concerned as well, they should extend the date to allow people to have time to prepare their miners. There isn't a functioning website, they came out with a pre-ann thread within 24 hours of release and are not addressing questions in their own thread. Clearly signs of an incompetent dev team, at least finish the early preparation before trying to launch.

Good luck!

I don't think ignoring ASICs is a good way to make a real coin. ASICs are the future of crypto mining, so any coins that don't allow them will be left behind shortly.

asic are the death of decentralization, "two bitcoin" is pretty pointless, because this is what will happen to others scrypt coin, they will be like a clone of btc even more

centralize a decentralized enviroment...

it is a cpu coin.
GPU is not worth mining this coin.

Maybe your are right, because of it is repel any SIMD method core specially ASIC even GPU.
Because of it has designed to be fair for every hardware CPU or GPU.
And, it is PoW/PoS coin, so, we consider more advantage on CPU.

Base on the level of optimization for GPU, the performance can be changed noticeably

Performance distribution ration CPU:VLIW:SIMD
*VLIW : r5~r7 AMD core, nVidia
*SIMD : r8~r9 AMD core, ASIC (if announced)

Scrypt      1:1.5:6
X11          1:2:3
Quark       1:1.5:4.5
JHA           1:3:4 ~ 2:3:5 (depend on the optimization, under working)

centralize a decentralized enviroment...

We are using the standard hashing method which has been known well.
So, it can be apply on ASIC
To support ASIC mining, they need to overcome some huddle

1. Around 20x higher cost than bitcoin ASIC cost
2. Around 10x higher host hardware,

We guess, it will takes longer than 5 years to get an reasonable cost vis ASIC.
And, this coin will work as the pure PoS coin after 2 years.

Using the number of rounds, we can adjust the load level of hashing, it will affect on
the mining hardware dependancy.

And this coin is repel on factory miner also,
And, more advantage on CPU and older GPU and any GPU,
So, everybody can mine the coin under the decentralization basis.

CPU and GPU mining,
And, better for the personal miner than the factory miner.
And, good for nVidia GPU also,
We are hope some programmer help us to support nVidia GPU also.

I don't think ignoring ASICs is a good way to make a real coin. ASICs are the future of crypto mining, so any coins that don't allow them will be left behind shortly.

ASIC "per se" are not the "enemy" I'm OK with Gridseed's, around the same price and hash as a video card, much less energy consumption.

If you can buy a graphics card you can also buy a Gridseed. However KNC's are a different beast, they are 1000x more powerful, and they cost 10.000 USD, not something everybody can buy, not a democratic proposition, and they completely subjugate the principles that made cryptocurrency popular. They represent GREED, the principal reason for so many injustices in the world, the principal reason why Bank's are so powerful today.

By giving enormous amounts of hashing power in the hands of few, we are shooting ourselves in the foot, and centralising what should have been decentralised by concept.

You may say that is a lost battle, that ASIC Manufacturer's and the Big players will find a way to make their equipment compatible with scryptN or X11, but by that time, I'm hopeful that a new Algo has arrived, and i will support it.
