NoticeAnyone having issues setting up or running via p2pool, HashHarder (sister site to Verters' Pool) has a fully working Merge Mine non p2pool up and running since almost launch time. You don't need to register (just like p2pool), and payouts go straight to your wallets (again similar to p2pool, and especially in this case, as payments can only be sent after the coin matures - 120 blocks). You simply connect to stratum+tcp://www.hashharder.com:9950 Set your username as -u <VertcoinAddress>.<MonocleAddress> -p x Where there is a (dot) between your both addresses. Then, your monocle stats and scheduled payouts (well the most recent 1,000 are listed, though all payouts are made) are here: http://www.hashharder.com/scrypt-n/monocle%20mergedYour vertcoin stats and scheduled payouts are here: http://www.hashharder.com/scrypt-n/vertcoin%20mergedIts almost like you are mining on two pools at the same time! Couldn't be simpler. Help us grow Hi. Ive been mining on hashharder for around 2 hours and there is not one scheduled payment on record for my monocle/vertcoin address. Is this normal? I know it takes a while for it to mature but surely there should be some record of what I have earned? Think that you have to wait for about 4hrs for MON to mature to be then available to be payed out, I think it may be upto 5hrs for VTC to mature Okay. When I was using P2Proxy is gave me a updated view every 10 mins of my estimated earnings. Hashharder does not seem to have this for me.

Hello, where to find p2p list for merged-mining of Monocle and Vertcoin
I have a lot rejects in p2p and under normal mining not get rejects
I looking for the List for the 3 networks to I will join to 1 according to my Kh/s speed
" As expected time to share is only average value, it should take multiple of this value to get share sometimes. Due to this fact, it's optimal to mine: on 1st network if your total hashrate is at least 3Mhs (3MHs on 1st network = 1 share per hour) on 2nd network if your total hashrate is between 1,5 - 3MHs (4 shares per hour) on 3rd network if your total hashrate is below 1,5MHs (up to 4 shares per hour) "
it would be better to do this

I know I'm not the only person to be merged mining on local p2pool and not be receiving any MON. However, this is my last post on this issue unless someone can find a solution, I'm losing the will to live trying to get this working. If I input : vertcoind listtransactions
It outputs : [ ]
However, I am receiving VTC payments to my wallet so there is no problem. BUT... If I input : monocled listtransactions
It outputs : [ ]
I am not receiving any MON to my wallet. I have started p2pool with the following command : python run_p2pool.py --give-author 0 --net vertcoin3 --merged http://USERNAME:PASSWORD@127.0.0.1:6888 -a VTC_PAYMENT_ADDRESS
I have started my miner with the following command : ./cudaminer --algo=scrypt:2048 -l T10x16 -C 2 -i 0 -o 127.0.0.1:9174 -O VTC_WALLET:MONOCLE_WALLET
vertcoind getinfo output : { "version" : 80604, "protocolversion" : 70002, "walletversion" : 60000, "balance" : 0.00000000, "blocks" : 80077, "timeoffset" : 0, "connections" : 9, "proxy" : "", "difficulty" : 243.55026493, "testnet" : false, "keypoololdest" : 1399046770, "keypoolsize" : 101, "paytxfee" : 0.00000000, "mininput" : 0.00001000, "errors" : "" }
monocled getinfo output : { "version" : 80701, "protocolversion" : 70002, "walletversion" : 60000, "balance" : 0.00000000, "blocks" : 767, "timeoffset" : -1, "connections" : 8, "proxy" : "", "difficulty" : 21.75861716, "testnet" : false, "keypoololdest" : 1399056814, "keypoolsize" : 101, "paytxfee" : 0.00000000, "mininput" : 0.00001000, "errors" : "" }
If anyone knows how to find out if I am mining MON and if so where it is, I'd appreciate it very much. Thanks.

anyone else getting poor reward performance on top of no payments on ny.p2proxy.net?
edited, results were consistent with diff and luck.
a result of merge mining or inefficiency of p2proxy/p2p.. a concern.
stats page reports stellar hash rate average though heh..

I've been merge-mining at p2pool.vtcpool.co.uk for ~15 hours with an average of 900kh/s. My only payout was 0.06VTC around noon. I should have gotten around 2VTC and (a guess, i have no idea what the block reward for mon is/was) 1+ mon..

It is delayd by many hours, up to 24h before you see expected payout amounts. It's like that on all p2p merge mining pools. And with defaults you need 1 MON or 0.1 VTC to get paid. So the worst thing you can do after hours of mining is jump to an other pool because then it will be waisted shares.

For those of you running proxynodes; I've pushed another bug fix for the payout scripts for proxypool... https://github.com/erkmos/proxypool/commit/92c59e067d5a72c1cf2a5ba22db98f2b0a516699
Please make sure to check the github repo every now and then for updates and bugfixes, and if you find a bug please create an issue on github (please don't use these for support).

Added in a little page switcher on Hashharder to make it easier to go between the two merge mined coins.

i mined for more than 7 hours at stratum+tcp://vtc.cubeconnex.com:9555 with 3 mh/s and got ZERO vertcoin and monocle please dont use this pool its a scam.
I know it has been frustrating and frightening to wait and not seeing coins coming into the wallets. I personally mined and did not see coins coming in till an hour ago. The system has been running smoothly since the last time I reported here. I realised the system needs to wait for the full 120 confirmations AND reached the individual users' minimal payout before it send you the coins. Vertcoin has a minimal 0.1 VTC while Monocle's minimal is 1 MON. And on top of that, there needs to have a 1 coin balance. And the system will make payout in 5 mins batches. All these factors contribute to the long wait. Having said that there are a number of users gotten their coins already. These are the users who have reached the minimal threshold. I believe they are high-hash miners. Let me know your VTC and MON addresses, I can check for you. Although the stats are not available from the website yet (please note the proxypool software provided by the Vertcoin Dev Team DOES NOT provide stats to the website), I can check out your stats via backend system commands. I will send the stats to you either through this forum or email. You may email me at info@cubeconnex.com. I am trying to get the stats out to the website so that all the miners can see their stats. Any help from the Dev Team, or from anyone in this forum would be very much appreciated as it would shorten the programming time. EDIT: One more thing. I have been working on this new system for close to 24 hours now. I have not taken any rest or sleep. I want to be sure the pool continue to run well and pay all its miners. I was mining on your pool since merged mining added and everything is great so far. I started receiving my first MON about 10 hours ago and now I have 15 . Thanks for your hard work.

Hi everyone,
Just got back from work. I see some of you may not have received payouts from my node (p2pool.vtcpool.co.uk) - I spoke to Erik and will update the scripts later tonight to lower the minimum payout threshold (even though this will result in a slightly higher proportion of payouts being used in fees - like 2% instead of 1%) and hopefully that will get some of the smaller hashers their payouts quicker. I can assure you all the scripts are definitely running, and I have made numerous payouts of both VTC and MON, so it is working, but due to the delay in coin maturity plus the minimum payout theshold, some of the smaller hashrate miners might have to wait quite some time for their first payout.
