Orphaned blocks

Looking on blockchain.info, I see there's been orphaned blocks in the last month or so ,and never any before that.  Is this something they just started tracking , or is there a sudden emergence ...and if so, why?

Orphaned blocks:

Detached or Orphaned blocks are valid blocks which are not part of the main chain. They can occur naturally when two miners produce blocks at similar times or they can be caused by an attacker (with enough hashing power) attempting to reverse transactions.

There was no attack, as nobody have enough hash power and I think this is nothing to be worried about.

As usual, BC.i has given out misleading data. They're obviously just forgetting old ones. There have always been orphan blocks (on the order of 1%) and will always be some, the finite speed of light ensures it.
