Something is wrong the network hash is down while I try and mine, it's the same on 2 pool?  From my understanding, the saffron coin wallet doesn't utilize the rpc command MPOS looks for when displaying the network hashrate. It would be awesome if the dev could implement one of them!  Try coind getmininginfo and check for output. MPOS will use one key of:

I saw both the draft and final whitepaper but I just want to get on record that I though it was very good and definitely sets a forward strategy for SFR. With the white paper done, development work at full pace and coin inflation to be reduced as per the communities request.... I agree with coinViking that our missing link is marketing. 'Marketing' is a big thing thats means different things to different people so I will be proposing a marketing plan within the next 48hrs to the community via the ,ev/IRC,etc. I am hoping that others will assist.
Saffron will get to 10000sat slowly but surely however with just 50 people voting in a recent poll it seems we have a lot of room for 'marketing' ideas and implementation.

At the moment everything below 2k is a steal. Easy 50%+ in 1-2 days if you are a trader. If you are a long term holder, then it's even better. 2-3 months from now people will look at the price charts and say "wow, was this coin really traded that low?!"
People are starting to get disenchanted with the "latest" scam coins and we will soon see BTC flowing back to coins with real innovation and developer support.
And when people realize eventually that multi-algo is the single most important feature for a decentralized network, then the sky is the limit for SaffronCoin.
