Nearly done with the IBANIZER
Only available for EU citizens, from upcoming week onwards you can pay your bills from your Cointopay balance. Send fiat straight from your coin balance! Starting on Monday. Is that cool or what. Make payments to Germany, Poland, Holland etc etc. Everywhere where they accept IBAN!

Coinectar project
(Connectar * Coin) + Nectar = Coinectar

So we will be launching a native crypto currency called Coinectar, a coin hardlinked to the euro.

The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

What's the minimum age to start staking? I have an unspent output of 2287.77 ORB, received 5.2 days ago, with 7931 confirmations, but 'getmininginfo' still shows a stakeweight of 0.

I can't find this information in the OP or on the website, but the top of main.cpp seems to suggest 1 and/or 5 days.

Should my client be staking at this point?

1 day, but input selection for staking is depth based. 10000 confirmations by default, change with stakemindepth in your orbitcoin.conf.

Thanks for that. stakeweight is now 9870.

What is the purpose of stakemindepth? Is it to minimise the client repeatedly shuffling through inputs when a stake is less likely, or is there some other reason? Just wondering why you would not want to attempt staking, when the network permits it.

Low depth wastes CPU time on inputs very unlikely to stake due to low weight. It will be reduced to 5000 confirmations by default in the next release though.

we have a 2. pool https://orb.heliapp.org! Tell your experiences here after 50 ORB mine and get 50 ORB from me additionally!

I have mined     65.54330448 ORB there today and Im still mining some more. This pool is working fine and the only problem that I had was that I registered with a hotmail address and I did not get an email. So I switched to another mail provider and that worked. I have recived all my payments fast from this pool.

Edit: That pool is now down. I got most of my coins out just a few I think  that is still in there.

Still experiencing really weird wallet behaviour. Sad Note this is on a new wallet, which has only 3 transactions (4 if you include the failed one mentioned below)

1. New wallet. Sent 2287.77 ORB to it, minted a further 2 ORB. Balance is 2289.77 ORB.
2. Attempted to send 10 ORB. It is marked as "failed" in transaction list.
3. Balance is now 1144.89 ORB... Huh where did the rest go?
4. Checkwallet claims 3433.65 ORB can be recovered. That's more than this wallet ever had.
5. Repairwallet mentions the same 3433.65 amount.
6. Actual balance is now 2289.77 again.

I have seen similar odd/impossible amounts on an old and fat wallet (did lots of mining in 2013), however, this is a virgin wallet that was created about 2 weeks ago.

edit: something I've noticed:

2289.77 / 2 = 1144.885. Very close to the incorrectly reported balance.
2289.77 * 1.5 = 3434.655. Very close to the impossible repairwallet amount.

Maybe just coincidental, but hope that gives some clue as to what the problem may be.

Ghost for what is this good?? that's new Smiley

logtimestamps adds date/time to debug.log
stakecombine attempts to produce 40+ ORB stake outputs
stakesplit makes two halved outputs if the total amount is 80+ ORB

The current defaults of 20/40 ORB don't seem optimal any more, however everyone is free to choose.

Just ran across this https://github.com/ghostlander/cgminer-neoscrypt/blob/master/FPGA-README

Does this mean Neoscrypt will work with FPGA devices and if so has anyone tried it?

Never mind, that's SHA-256d legacy. I'm not aware of any FPGAs to run NeoScrypt yet.
