i've been holding since 2014  My stack is not that big though. ORB is actually the only one altcoin I keep for very long term investment Same here, i'm holding Orbitcoin since 2014, i've bought my first ORB in may 2014 (Cryptsy). Since then i think i trippled my amount of ORB just with letting run my wallets to stake. Yesterday was the 4th birthday of Orbitcoin and still a small but strong and stable coin. All the rumors about Bitcoin recently, the blocksize and the split stuff, very unstable markets because of that, even a chance of blockchain splitting into two separate chains, which would effectively create two different coins. So to all people that are getting tired of all the Bitcoin stuff: why not steppin' into Orbitcoin? Some months age there were about 45 active peers daily! Since august last year almost 2400 peers seen by CoinExchange! Hey Ghost, hope you had a good vacation How many coins are needed to make 1 stake every day?
Depends on the size of your blocks, a block of 40 ORB will stake mostly faster than a block of 20 ORB. You need to run your wallet to stake and it's also a matter of luck, there will be 720 stakes a day if i'm correct and there are many others staking too. Like @ogtk wrote, i think you need at least 1k to 2k ORB to get ~1 stake a day. (blocks of 40 ORB each are recommended) |
