Could you explain in detail how to set up staking? I feel I have missed out on a ton of orb due to the lack of information.
Make inputs 20+ ORB each. Keep your wallet online 24/7. Use the Coin Control to spend the youngest inputs first.

Same question, were can we find bootstrap.dat ? data.7z (832166 blocks, Windows only, 322Mb) md5sum (data.7z) = 4d3741b01d6609bf8f8a4b4fe36e863a Block chain data, block index and transaction data base. Decompress to your Orbitcoin data subdirectory cleaned up previously (keep wallet.dat, peers.dat and orbitcoin.conf).

Who has been scammed? Everyone - due to flawed / malicious math most of the minable coins were premined by dev. 1.000.000 of total 31.000.000 was premined, but in the ends it was impossible to mine rest 30.000.000. It was more like 500.000 only and furthermore it will took ~1000 years. You may check previous thread (or at least this post https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=265555.msg2844953#msg2844953), even that dev deleted his posts and requested ops to delete topic. I don´t care that ORB is something else now, for me its scam.

I agree that ORB has a tainted past - last I remember Redmist disappeared without exchanging coins mined on Mad_Max's fork. But you must also agree that ghostlander has given it new life, even if his replies are rather dry. I'd never realised forgotten that the premine was actually 1 million ORB, or about 62% of the current supply. It would take something like 2 years to mine that today, and even longer when the block reward was only 0.25 ORB. That's a massive premine. Has anyone traced the transactions from the first 10 blocks to see how it has been divided up?

relating to the ORB advancement fund / Primine 1,000,000 ORB 19 October 2013 - 03:39 PM Starting tomorrow all ORB Miners will be getting an extra 600,000 coins back to miner is over https://cryptocointalk.com/topic/1419-300-day-orb-mining-bonanza-extra-currency-for-miners/by TheRedMist was 150k left after the coin exchange ghostlander is doing for people that was on the wrong fork,, 130k left I think,, out of around 1.6 million in circulation The other funds was used in giveaways, and bounties to merchants/services example: by TheRedMist 120K where already gaining merchants and a steady rate, over 70 merchants/services in only one year. But if you want to reach out to merchants speak with Ghostlander about it, clearly it needs to be long term ORB support or it's not advancement. most coinpayment.net merchants are happy with a 100 to 300 ORB donation I find, will be seeing about new merchants there in the next day or two, (I suspect we will of gained more merchants) and if not I'll contact a few. https://cryptocointalk.com/topic/12622-orbitcoin-v132-coin-exchange/Transactions: 814.41 ORB exchanged to Smartmining 3978.798851 ORB exchanged to Tsousa 1258.03 ORB exchanged to Ojmalik 858.55 ORB exchanged to Erazmus 150k is just what's left over, Ghostlander the new head of development will use it in the advancement of ORB,, like I said could be any number of new projects... but we was legit no a scam currency = 600K + 130K + 120K + 150K left over = 1,000,000 by Ghostlander Unlike many shitcoin founders, Red Mist didn't dump and leave when he could. There is ~140K of the pre-mine left, the rest was given away in bounties, rewards, etc. This advancement fund is under my control now and I don't make any profit with it, though I could split these coins into small parts and put into staking. It would be very noticeable as I estimate there is ~600K ORB staking. The rest is in cold storage, lost or not staking for some reason. What comes to Red Mist, he bought back quite many ORBs dumped by the others. He has funded the recent promotional campaign to bring new merchants and exchanges to Orbitcoin, and it cost him over 40K ORB and some BTC.

I don´t care that ORB is something else now, for me its scam. Shakezula was hired to launch Orbitcoin a year ago. Ask him why he has had designed it this way to never make over 1.6 million and left some serious bugs in. On the other hand, Red Mist hasn't dumped this pre-mine on exchanges. He has used it to promote ORB by paying for various bounties, giving away including his Mining Bonanza with lucky transaction fees, etc. I don't think he has ever made any real profit with it. The coin supply and distribution model have been corrected by me. There were no false promises made to set up something big to boost exchange rates just to make some profit quick. No pre-mine theft and dump by the developers like happened to Phoenixcoin and many other coins. Therefore I don't see anyone scammed. I see you don't like Orbitcoin, but your scam insults make no sense. pr9me has never been a real developer for Orbitcoin. He participated in the logo contest and won it for a bounty. The current Orbitcoin logo is his work. Why to delete the OP and change "[ANN] Orbitcoin (ORB) Official Release Thread - Scientific POW/POS Adv. Hybrid" to "remove thread"? Maybe because he held no interest in this coin and didn't want the others to think of him as of an official developer.

I don´t care that ORB is something else now, for me its scam. So let me get this correct your calling ORB a scam because your a but hurt miner? but last year ORB was top for profit mining 4 months in a row, miners have made big money on ORB fact. 1 million that was out in the open at the start to be used for advancement reasons isn't a scam, it might of looked like it could of been a scam back then but it wasn't, the coins wasn't dumped and ORB now has over 80 merchants/services. I guess you rather currencies that hide the pre-mine and dump it? ?? Or do you like one of the 100s of fully pre-mined currencies that you can't even mine? ?? ORB is decentralised and minable! Why don't you take a look at currencies like ( Rimbit, Ripple, stellar, tradecoin, marscoin +100 others) fully pre-mined not minable and centralised, They could very well be scam coins only time will tell, but I don't hate on them, as if they use the funds more wisely than a dumping miner like your self, they stand a better chance in the age of over 600 and growing Cryptocurrencies. To sum up ORB isn't a scam, to me a scam is a currency that pre-mined billions not 1 million lol, can you say IPO?? the ORB advancement fund was never sold, could you imagine the red mist saying back then yes I mined 1 million for advancement but now I'm selling it for BTC and calling it an IPO??? lmao but this is the sort of shit you put up with these days from true scam devs. fact is ORB was a reverse IPO as coins mined by miners was paid for at a high price, redmist spent over 80 BTC buying mined coins at a high price, the advancement fund pre-mine as you call it, was never sold apart from by the merchants/exchanges/average users that it was given to in bounties/giveaways. Wait I see your crying because you din't get your share?? maybe you should of come over to Cryptocointalk then where our forum is located... for christmas you could of got 20 ORB for the Cryptsy christmas giveaway, back then 1 ORB was worth over 200k satoshi each. so people was given their first 4 million satoshi free, in just that one giveaway for example. ORB took a lot of crap from people like you when it came out, now time has proven you wrong and your still spreading FUD about Orbitcoin, by the way the thread you mentioned got took down because theredmist asked him to delete the thread due to all the fud, why don't you ask the OP of the thread your self before jumping to wild conclusions. If theredmist was a scammer why hand over what's left of the advancement fund over to the new head of development a year later??? seems your talking out of your ass without even researching.

Yes after a good half a year of personal attacks TheRedMist had a brake down, but has returned to honoured the agreement you mentioned, as Ghostlander is currently paying people out for coins the mined on the wrong fork. Wouldn't be possible if it wasn't for the advancement fund. Who knows where ORB would be now if it wasn't for the scam developers/miners hating on this currency, a true currency with a noble goal, we don't want only the elites to colonize space, but clearly ORB needs more support from the people to achieve our end goal of been the space reserve currency, ORB has over 80 merchants/services here on Earth so far, we submit to Bitcoin been the world reserve currency of Earth, but ORB will have a presence on each planet as well as in space.
