Why the F is eveyone so eager to sell their NXT? What is wrong with people, if i sell now i have big loss, F this
Because the snapshot is over.
We all understand that the price will dump after the snapshot.

Dump is a thing... Selling at 30% is retard.
i bought some on the dump  Cool

I think i should also keep cool...bittrex was so laggy that I was not able to cancle my sell oder anymore...big loss from +3500$ to -900$, lesson learned.
Right now I would be in + again...biggest mistake since I joined the crypto market Smiley

haha, but you didnt include lessons learnt into the positive numbers of your calculation;-)

This is a little confusing to a newcomer.

The way i understand is NXT helps ICOs and any 'coin' created on NXT blockchain will receive that token.  I.E. IGNIS.  IGNIS is a child chain of ARDOR.

So NXT will help ICOs / receive that token for holding NXT.

ARDOR will create the child chains?

Obviously much more complicated but is this accurate? What am i missing?  I am just surprised to see NXT dip so much (GOOD entry point for newcomers....).  NXT holders are going to profit off of w/e is created as a child chain by Ardor....
people will cry after the bouce back to 1000

Here's my confusion....People on Ardor Bitcointalk said the below....

""Early January, the ARDR asset in your NXT wallet will be converted on a 1 to 1 basis. I hope this clarifies the situation."""

What does this mean?

Just a question: Does that mean you will get per each ARDR asset one NXT? Or vice versa?

That's all in the past.  The coins were fairly distributed.  Everyone who wanted to buy cheap coins had plenty of opportunity.

Ardor is an asset/token on the NXT blockchain, just like EOS or Augur are tokens on the Ethereum blockchain.
As of today Ardor is disabled, you can no longer transfer Ardor (or buy/sell Ardor on the NXT exchange).

If you owned any Ardor then you will be able to use it once the new Ardor blockchain is launched on January 1.
So Ardor will move from the NXT blockchain to its own blockchain.

Thus any childchain created on Ardor, Ardor holders will get a reward everytime an ICO is created?

And NXT / Ardor will be seperate.

NXT will get coin from ICOs created on NXT.

Correct?

NXT and Ardor are two sperate platforms.

Ardor mainnet will be released on 1st January 2018, it currently runs only on test net. Ardor allows to create child chains for everyone. IGNIS will be the first child chain of Ardor which is operated by the Ardor team. IGNIS child chain will have all functionality child chains can have.

The asset exchange of NXT platform was/is used for IGNIS ICO, Ardor and IGNIS token distribution. The NXT price has been risen because NXT holders get 0.5 IGNIS for each NXT they hold on an airdrop which was conducted on Nxt block 1636363. Now, after the airdrop was conducted the price collapses as expected from many.

It is confusing for newbies, indeed, but if you take some time and read information you will get behind it.

*** AFTER THE NXT SNAPSHOT ***

The NXT snapshot was taken at block 1636363 and everything worked out as expected :ok_hand:

THANK YOU ALL for your incredible support!

Jelurida is working now on the Ardor genesis block. As soon as it’s ready, a new Ardor release 2.0.9 will be released to serve as mainnet version.

IGNIS tokens will be released on January 1st, at the Ardor Launch (since Ignis is the first child-chain of Ardor). All $NXT holders will be able to see their IGNIS balances when Ardor mainnet wallet is released.

Please remember that the trading of the Ardor,  Bitswift and Janus assets is not possible anymore on the Nxt blockchain, anyone trying to sell you one of these assets is selling you fake tokens. The trading with Ardor, Bitswift and Janus will be possible on the new Ardor platform only.

Updated information soon at: https://www.jelurida.com/ico

I have a question, the people who got (NXT) right after the snapshot will receive IGNIS?

Just a newbie question.

Curious what the future of NXT is for 2018? I went in with some NXT looking at getting some Ignis for "free". Slept through the snapshot sell off and now I'm down about 50%. With Ignis coming out does NXT have a future of ever getting back to $1.25+.

Thanks,

The problem is that some people lost a lot of money ( despite being some sort of a fork ) , no IGNIS is available on any platform and we still don't know the future of NXT.

There are 2 explanation for this dump :

1. investors  were preparing for B2X fork . In this case , NXT team choose the time for airdrop very badly and NXT team should say something ....

2. it is a scam.  announce "fork" for NXT , price goes up , smart people sell it at top peak,  keep price high , then after airdrop dump everything . Why  would anyone  sell at  0.00003 BTC ( -70% from 24h average ) unless it was auto-trading for dumping ...

I wrote here at least 3 times that it will crash just before the snapshot and after snapshot, it will continue to drop more.

And now some of you are shocked telling about was it a scam or not.

It is how you trade. I tried to warn you.
