Personally I don't like market manipulation. You should 'build buy walls' if you actually want to buy. Putting up lots of offers to buy when you don't actually want to buy is just stupid (because you may well end up buying when you didn't want to), deceitful, manipulative, and is not the way a business or any other organization should try to present itself to the world.
You dont like.. Well i like the idea of buy wall supporting the price, it gives confidence to invest in the coin. They way crypto is todays is tiresome, it`s to easy to manipulate a coin, just start some fud and the selling start. A big buy wall will make investors feel more secure, at least me.

When will we recive wallet.dat .... on a 16th august or before ? Yes,the same question. What's the plan of DEV? Couple posts back. Looks like around August 16th at 12:00pm PST We're working out the launch process now and we'll have more info on that soon. Right now its looking like you'll get them just before the wallets are released (aug16), wallets will probably be released with passwords so that everyone has a fair shot to get up and running at the same time.

Well, if 1500 btc get sold in the presale I'm 100% sure there will be buy walls going up because people who buy into the presale don't want to see the price fall. These people investing 15, 20, 25 bitcoins will have more bitcoins to throw up in support. I wouldn't worry. I'm sure people won't buy into the presale and will buy on the market too. If buy support is weak and price is going down I'm positive the syscoin team will figure out why and make adjustments to make everyone happy and make sure the coin succeeds.

Hardly. LOL If you think this is long check out https://www.ethereum.org/That is even longer and so far collected almost 25,000 bitcoins. It won't be launching for a few more months. Better go warn them. https://blockchain.info/charts/balance?address=36PrZ1KHYMpqSyAQXSG8VwbUiq2EogxLo2^^^ and that's why I'm not too worried about the price and support. People are chucking btc's like crazy into ethereum in hopes they do things like what Syscoin is doing.

Yes, you might have great technology, but without proper price management (buy walls!), whales will take control over your coin and it will become a playground for them. That would be a pity! Better be smart, and build strong buy walls from the start. As it was mentioned before, when few people start selling at the beginning, the whole thing might collaps, and even the strongest hands will turn into weak hands. Be smart! Don't waste your work! That ICO money should be used for providing buy support. I thought it is obvious.

Upon launch of Syscoin you will receive an email where you can go and download your wallet.dat they wont just send this direct over email to you - You then replace that wallet.dat with the one that's within your data folder (Once you have downloaded the Syscoin Wallet itself. The second method (Keypair) you will have a public/private keypair combination to enter which will then give you access to your Syscoin.

What we need is a Via coin / Syscoin merge mining pool available on launch. Since this coin can be merge mined with any other scrypt coin I don't see why that wouldn't be possible
100% possible. P2Pool can do it at launch should be almost plug and play (we'll try to get it setup to be that easy) and we're going to offer a bounty for a MPOS merged mine fork. Thats the challenge- because only P2Pool really supports merged mining it won't be hugely adopted at first- by comparison once an MPOS merged mined fork is available it should be almost ubiquitous. We're using some of the presale funds to make this a lucrative opportunity for a smart developer. [/quote] Awesome! MPOS would be even better but P2Pool would do With Litecoin merge mining with Dogecoin soon too, the possibilities are endless. Mining Lite/Doge/SYS at once sounds pretty good..

In 9 days.

The market place will have the most competition. Hopefully buying and selling fees will be low enough to encourage people to build and use. People will have to go from btc (or usd) to sys and then buy things on the market place. If the fees to do that is too great they will look else where.

I did that. I think you are sent the wallet.dat for the total that you send. So you can send more if you wish.
