I think it is worth noting that the funds I loaned are not actually due until the 1st of Feb.  It's also useful that rexcoin has worked out they've got themselves into a mass and is working on putting it right and not hiding.  Also, I suggested to rexcoin earlier that putting in a payment plan is a good idea - lenders want to cover their losses and maybe we don't get back everything, but it's better than nothing.

I wonder if some people playing with bitcoin think it's not real money, or have not had to deal with real life consequences.  In this case the amounts are small, but still over USD300 worth and that's a lot if you don't have it.

BTW, I'm not bailing out Greece - that's too much risk.

I hopefully will have a payment plan with burt if he agrees to help out, and yes i feel so foolish/stupid for asking for so many loans thinking i was going to win, i mean with the first 3 loans i won pretty quick, i guess i got what was coming to me since i gambled, and now that i lost like $300 in bitcoins i feel bad i wouldnt care if it were my money you know but its other peoples money - so i feel even worse.  I am going to do everything i can to get these loans paid, that i can promise!

Well im 23 years old, i guess its a lesson learned you know, Im sorry for all the headaches i have given everyone. I WILL make it right.

Hold on for just a second here.  If I am reading this correctly:

jfreak53 just sent 20 BTC to rexcoin and rexcoin sent only 14 to johnthedong?

rexcoin, what happened to the other 6 BTC?  Be honest.

Also, since this is your public loan information:

As we agreed in pm,
Code:
Loan amount: 15btc
Repayment amount: 18 btc
Repayment date: 3 days from the time I send the coins.
Repayment address: 18c8oXmyvfAFjeR575y5XACJhtrVf9yfjR
Will send to 181TQJfi6aJGQr1p9bjTafmTSkoYBtzYvu, is that okay?

The 14 BTC makes no sense.  It does not cover the principal, let alone the repayment amount.  Why did you not pay this one off entirely?

johnthedong, did you change the terms of the loan?

I was thinking about helping out (with some restrictions, etc.) but I need to understand what just happened here.
Was out just now so didn't reply in time. Yes, the repayment period is due on tomorrow, hence his repayment is early. He has to clear his loans with people in dragontales, so he didn't repay me the entire amount. I'm okay in allowing him to stretch the repayment dates for a couple of days without any additional interest. He has been entirely upfront and open about everything, and he has my trust.

I'm quite happy to lend you some money (upto 23 bitcoins), but you should ask your creditors first if they are prepared to let you just pay them back late, since that will cost less and help you get out of your debt hole quicker.

Well it does not look like he is in as much trouble as I first thought.  He has wisely determined that he was getting in trouble and it appears he is getting everything taken care of before it is too late.

Code:
Who is owed   Total amount owed   Repayment address
-----------   -----------------   ----------------------------------
jfreak53                22.0000   1PuqE7vvb5DpdEMH7j3EM5PgT3JkFfCZoK
johnthedong              4.0000   18c8oXmyvfAFjeR575y5XACJhtrVf9yfjR
PatrickHarnett          28.5000   17eSx2yRdrhcJ8kS1CmadfvAVf4QHCfUPE
DragonTales              3.0000   1AJLphLithbP5jPxgsKkfAe2vZ2nFrsaBL
-----------   -----------------
Total                   57.5000

jfreak53 is a new loan so he has time to pay it off
PatrickHarnett is not even due yet so he has time.

I could cover the 7 BTC left but ptd already offered so you can have it if you want it.  I do suggest you pay his creditors directly.

Sorry for being late to respond again feel asleep, thanks burt Wagner for the help, i thought it be better if you paid for the loans and i just only owe one person (you), but if you suggest i just be patient and pay them each i'll do that, what do you suggest?

Yea i am not late yet on the loans, but it is better to be safe then sorry. Hmm i would like to know if you could pay these loans, even if i got to pay interest, so that they can be taken care of, and if i could get 30 days to pay, now i would of course try not to just wait last minute and pay 30 days later and pay a large sum, i would do it bit by bit. If you did agree to make the payouts to the loans i owe, we could create a new thread to keep track of what i sent.  This is all up to you, whatever you decide im fine with.

I went to bed just after writing that last post (being a brit and it being 2am in the morning).

Yes, just tell me where you want the 7 BTC sent and I'll send it. I'll offer a compounded interest rate of 0.25% daily (equivalent to 7.78% every 30 days).

I think you can work this out.  Pay everyone off as fast as you can.  Make payments whenever you can and keep track of everything.  Remain honest and stop gambling Smiley

Here is your starting point (from what I can gather, everyone let me know if you see any mistakes).  Looks like you may need to talk to Patrick about an extension.  If he is unwilling/unable to do that then come back and let's talk again.  Good luck!

Code:
Who is owed   Total amount owed   Due Date   Repayment address
-----------   -----------------   --------   ----------------------------------
jfreak53                22.0000   2/23       1PuqE7vvb5DpdEMH7j3EM5PgT3JkFfCZoK
PatrickHarnett          28.5000   2/1        17eSx2yRdrhcJ8kS1CmadfvAVf4QHCfUPE
ptd                      7.5446   2/24       (if I understand your loan correctly)
-----------   -----------------
Total                   58.0446
