The creator is probably a member of this forum.

1. He is known to use forums
2. This is one of the largest bitcoin forums

If so, he would probably look at all of the threads posted about his identity.

He would probably do the following:

1. Use a new identity frequently
2. State the obvious to throw folks off the scent

I think SN is actually a whole set of people who wish to remain anonymous. The idea is not to draw attention to a guy who invented something revolutionary but rather to the idea itself.

We still have no idea who satoshi is, after creating this thread (and many others) for years, and I don't think we will be able to solve the puzzle unless he/she/they come out to reveal the identity.

IMO, we should just focus on how to make bitcoin better instead of focusing on the true identity of the founder.

I doubt it we will ever know who it is or who they are. Maybe one day someone will reveal themselves, who knows. But it's for their safety to remain anonimous.

Is it really a puzzle? A puzzle is intended to be solved at some point. This is just someone who decided to remain anonymous, or pseudonymous. There's no reward or definite answer behind all this. It may just be a virtual identity created by some cryptography enthusiasts...

So many people want to know exactly who he is and I can understand why because it's such a big mystery and people want to solve it however I don't know I kind of like the idea of it being a mystery and nobody knowing, it's what makes him who he is and if he wishes to stay anonymous if it is a him then why can't he Smiley

And he will be more safe as well. Smiley

I think we will never know who saotshi is. He probably left the bitcoin community and no longer keep an eye on it.

This is totally unnecessary, satoshi must remain anonymous.
