There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

I also deposited BTC in this exchange but balance never appeared in my account. I got the information about this exchange from TWEcoin thread, so I transferred BTC to buy TWE, but then after two days I realised that it is a scam.

I lost just under 0.01 btc to them, sent from my poloniex account. I wrote it off when my trades bugged out, I couldn't get ahold of the admin, and couldn't withdraw anything.

https://blockchain.info/address/1DtoJGFvDCXM7zEdMqQ7PrSppzcrYgyYSE

If anyone does manage to get anything out of them, my btc address is: 1JQ6VPm1UwPhfNHrZpJhDcNdjAA5MGUPBa

But I'm not getting my hopes up.

@Coinopend: I just lost 0.33503749 btc to you. I hope you can give some of it to me back. Keep half of it, maybe less. Ok

Deposit address: 1M1stch5wJ14TByXxYmwwEQEMBtENCjAud

I think it is lost for ever.

I unfortunately made a mistake and deposited 2btc into this site because I was blinded by their prices for a lot of the alt-coins they list...well..

https://blockchain.info/address/1A2DXdrweQVBDaAqUqPoveBvc8hLthjAt9

There's my two coins just sitting after I made the deposit, they don't show up in my balance with the site either. This is really a big hit so I'm hoping something gives with this site or the owner but DO NOT DEPOSIT HERE.

It sounds like coinpeat all over again. The exchange looks professional, but it's really a scam.
