Ok we have some things to consider - Based on the fact that the "Dev" had pre mined a shit - we need to consider - do we want to keep working on this chain, and make it popular, only for him to dump his pre mine. (make him rich).

Or should we create a new Genesis Block on the Fresh chain. ?   We could use your current holdings of CAC towards shares (coins) on the new chain.  This would allow us also to reduce the number of coins, as well as change some other variables that would make sense for long term.

So for instance lets say there were 100 CAC total and you owned 1 CAC.  You would own 1% of total CAC.  On the new Fresh chain - we could ensure you owned 1% of the new coins.

Please vote here what you think is best - we want to drive this coin based on community input and not our sole decisions.  Communities build projects, not individuals.

I think there is no simple way to disable the premine block(s) without
- 'dev' having the chance to move them around to hide and save them
- regular miners loosing coins they got from 'dev'

The % idea needs to consider 2 points:
- premine still owned by 'dev' (= premine - paid bounties) does not count into the 100%
- considering the actual price of 1 Sat a change of i.e. 10 old = 1 new means loosing 90% of value

What I mean is: How can we cut out the premine without or with minimal impact to normal owners of this coin.

Maybe I am missing something or I am too greedy Wink

Lets discuss this but don't let this discussion stop you from changing the algo Smiley

Right - so if we switched to a new FRESH chain he would loose all his pre mine regardless.  The pre mine coins would NOT count as shares twards the new fresh block chain.  (if we ere to switch totally to a new chain).

The actual price of 1 sat is NOTHING considering the only reason it even got to 1 SAT was because my group and others within the community PAID BTC to get votes on swiss cex and votes to get on c-cex.  So worse case scenario we pay again to get CAC v2 - reloaded on the same exchanges giving the new coin the same value.

If we move to a new chain we can also drastically decrease the amount of coins from whatever billions to 10 million or so... this makes them more rare / scarce which should make them more valuable.

The main point here is we have a STRONG community - we should not kill it - we need to find a way to move forward and so I am proposing here all I can and offering all the help I can to migrate in the forward direction.

the alternative here is to ... do nothing.. and let the scammer win this.  dont let this happen. collectively we are greater than he is and when cac v2 hits ATH (all time high) he will kick himself in the ass for ditching us and scamming our btc.

6.Article about Community Step Over
7.maybe the Dev is not a scammer ( Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy ) maybe he is just an lazy ass mammas boy
8.Approaching Bittrex and Cryptsy

Like I said: Maybe I am a bit too greedy  Grin  hoping for a 1:1 exchange

Sometime you have to loose some first to win at the end.
Heavy reducing the total amount of coins will be a good thing I am sure
and the takeover from you canadians (no offense meant) will help alot too.
Coders and investors looks prommissing to me.

(- Dreaming of new features in the future ... integrated marketplace, alias, cluster structure of network ...-)

Everyone please move over to the new coin page. It will be a community takeover.

Hopefully we can turn this coin into something greater than it is. Honestly that shouldn't be hard given that this last developer did next to nothing after initially launching the coin.

This California coin seems to have long threads.  Hey California friends, hello from New England region.

If some old member of California coin wants to revive this old regional coin, I am offering you an exchange listing at
ShorelineCrypto exchange at very low price, 0.01 BTC or  well below 0.005 BTC equivalent if the payment is paid on NewEnglandcoin (NENG) exclusively. Checkout
our other regional coin listing:
NewEnglandcoin (NENG) :  https://shorelinecrypto.com/market/DOGE-NENG
Quebecoin (QBC): https://shorelinecrypto.com/market/DOGE-QBC

I am aware that there was some dispute on old dev large pre-mine. I am not too worried about that. The old dev is likely long gone and sold out. The
trading price is going to be very low initially and can be low and gradually going higher as trading price and market will re-distribute coins across different supporters.

As long as some old members still have old coins and blockchain to sync wallet, this coin can be reborn.
