Do you guys think its still a good time to scoop up some Nodes? Or wait for a dip?

If you want to wait a bit 125 is probably a safe order, 120 is a bit of a gambol, I would not go any lower. I expect some bursts here soon followed by steady growth till February then volatility through at least March. It may dip again, no man knows the future but I would not count on it.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.
Advertised sites are not endorsed by the Bitcoin Forum. They may be unsafe, untrustworthy, or illegal in your jurisdiction.

We have been for months in the get rid of dumpers and weak hands stage.. about a week ago a soft-light marketing started and more and more people knows about node.. community growing...i dont think there is gonna be anymore dip. NODE is gonna keep growing. Ofc u could just set a buy order and hope for someone to sell.. but this is gonna keep growing and 250 satoshis is the floor.. ipo ended in that price and we are heading back to that floor.

Hi, guys!
Is 0.9.1b for the real network? I download it, delete old blockchain C:\nxtl\db and download new one. Start, all is ok.

Why I don't see myself in the peer list?

Should be open any port for the node for better help network?

A small transaction was made in 2014-08-06, but I see only 1 confirmation, is it normal?

If the node running 24/7, but does not transactions, it will accumulate NodeHeight and someday it will generates a block? It has >500000 NODE.

use client

Still a good point however. Just in case you want to check a transaction and don't have access to your client.

Do you guys think its still a good time to scoop up some Nodes? Or wait for a dip?

Yes, as long as the developers have not started promoting
After that the price will rise above 200-300

Shocked oh! 8 btc buy wall at 135 was eaten very quickly (1,37 btc then 6,65btc)

dumpers still have ammunition  Sad

Hey James,

are we satisfied with Instantdex. As I understand it is a centralised solution.
Looks like NODE is doing it decentralized. Their new algortihm is out and working. Of course till now with small amounts of transactions.
Maybe NODE will be a good additive to supernets core, by adding instant transactions.
Maybe you already know all of it, but if not, please take a look.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=590421.0

disclaimer: of course I own some Node, but an irrelevant amount in comparision to my supernet tokens.

Wether or not NODEs instant transactions - and the entire network for that matter - will work is still questionable imho. Their network "only" facilitates instant transactions because it's fully connected i.e. every node is connected to every other node. I have a feeling that won't scale very well but only time will tell.
N*N topology does not scale at all. If that is how they are getting fast performance, then it will quickly bog down.

James

that's the reason propably

Im loving it. Trading volume growing, community growing, NODE being mentioned on several places, february closer, days for starting a bigger promotion and new clients coming. This will grow and as someone mentioned before 1k satoshi is very easy. having a market cap of 10,000 BTC is something factible for NODE... and even more Smiley As soon as people keep selling and buying this will be good for everyone.

NodeCard
my idea for NODE

I suggest after starting NodeBank organize issue NodeCard.
Dev team can release a co-branded Visa card (or Mastercad) together with any bank.
Card tied to a specific account.
The funds will be debited from the USD/EUR subaccounts.
If funds are insufficient - Nodes will be exchanged for the most benefit counter application for internal Exchange.

I believe that this will be a breakthrough not only for Node, but for all Crypto-Currency world.
Course for the release of the card user will have to send their data.
As well as pay for the production and shipment.

I don't know if this idea is possible because the centralized part of the network cannot move USD, EURO, or NODE from users accounts it can only create USD and EUR. Even when you use a NODE ATM to withdraw you have to send the USD to the NODE ATM. It cannot deduct it.

NodeBank will be centralized structure. If u wont USD/EUR for Node account - u will pay it to NodeBank. And this money stay in NodeBank.
On your account you get a debt obligations from NodeBank. And you can share them with other users.
With this structure, I believe it possible to create NodeCard.

Thanks for pointing that out. I don't remember if I ever logged in to my node on the website or not but you can bet that I will not be with the new one. Guess I need to be more careful in the future. Good looking out.

Hey would it be possible to add time/date stamps to http://nodemoney.com:19775/blockchainexpl/ ?

you guys really should start with SSL, both the main webpage and all the tools and services. I'd really be happy even with Cloudflare's free Universal SSL. IMHO that would up the index ratings as well.
