Just made a few payouts of NXTNAUT for tonight, slightly earlier today than usual:
(need some beauty sleep)
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1182317.msg12441796#msg12441796

@newra:

Just to clarify my role here: I'm handling the escrow/transfer of old NAUT to NXTNAUT, as well as acting as a liaison between the Nautilus/Drachmae/Coinstructors teams and the Nxt community. Plus a bit of community relations here that seems to have crept in to my role somehow.......

With my escrow hat on : I won't allow any NAUT holder to get shafted on the exchange.
If you turn up with valid NAUT, even a couple of months down the line, it should be possible to redeem it.

Having said that, the NAUT network will start to die off as everyone moves to the Nxt-based coin, and at a certain moment it will become impractical/impossible to make transfers. So, yeah, hodl 'til the Drachmae exchange is fully operational, but not too much longer.

@EvilDave thanks that helps a lot.
I'll try to see if I can convert a small amount with the manual process and see how it goes. Or else I will stick to my plan of doing it as soon as the exchange opens.

NXTNAUT is a purely temporary name.....once the swap is over, there will be only Nautilus (NAUT). Branding stays the same (well, updated a bit)
Right now, the swap is 80% complete, so to avoid confusion we still use NAUT (old PoW) and NXTNAUT (new Nxt MS-based coin)

And that's the reason for the swap: BK/Drachmae had a good use case for a currency, but couldn't make it run using NAUT on the old blockchain, hence the swapover to a more feature rich system, ie Nxt Monetary System.

Swap will stay open as long as needed:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1182317.0
This redemption will move over to the new Drachmae exchange when it opens, I've posted a few times before here about the not very strict deadline for swaps.

So far, everyone who's done the swap is happy (I hope), and the Drachmae project has taken NAUT from a market cap of round $40,000 to $917,000.

Thanks for the answer.

[...] bittrex has already swapped old coins to new coins but cryptsy not [...]

I have coins on both exchanges, do I need to do something? or they'll take care of it?

Made a couple of NXTNAUT payouts tonight:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1182317.msg12441796#msg12441796

@TFE:
I would recommend that you do the swap while the OLDNAUT network is still healthy. It's not all that hard, just skim through the instructions and try it out with a small amount.
But, if you really cannot run through the redemption process for any reason, then waiting on Cryptsy shouldn't be a big problem...

Just updated the redemption transfers list, and I can say:

Yay! We just hit the 4 million NAUT mark: 4,004,694 to be precise.

Great news, now if we can only get one certain exchange to do a swap for its users...

I'm trying to send NAUT coins from Bittrex to my NAUT wallet. Every time I create a new address and try again but they all fail (Status is Invalid).

I get this message: "The address you submitted is not valid for the NAUT network. Cancel this withdrawal and resubmit it."

Any ideas how to fix it? I sent a support ticket to Bittrex but wondering if anyone on here knows.

Sounds like you're trying to send to the old wallet. There's been a coin swap in case you weren't aware. Look back through the thread to learn more.

Yup, Bittrex have already carried out the swap, so the Nautiluscoin on 'Trex is the new NXT MS-based NAUT.

Check through the NAUT redemption thread for more information:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1182317.0

If you want to move your NAUT out of Bittrex....get a NXT client sorted out.

ok thanks. This is what was confusing me (see below). I thought I couldn't send my NAUT in Bittrex directly to the NXT Wallet. I'll try that now.

Step two: organise your accounts.

For this phase of the Nautiluscoin redemption, we are only accepting coins sent from the client. No transfers from exchanges, please.

make sure you dump it quick. there's only 5 BTC buy support on bittrex and other NAUT holders are standing by ready to dump.

good luck!
