I’m very patient but have to say something. Crypto is all about to be fast, and 2 months of announcing and not delivering POS in Naut is definitely not fast. I’m not pump and dump investor, I’m not waiting for 500% rise in 24h after POS (which BTW will not happen, because people “bought” NAUT POS a few times in the past, and there is almost no one left to jump in the train now) so I am for steady rise and I am satisfied with actual price (bought much lower). But all this POS is a big flaw. Maybe it is a mistake, maybe two months ago POW should be just repaired. It is ridiculous to wait 6 hours for a single confirmation, there are many coins without a dev for months, which works better... Look at just one example BURST coin, 3 weeks old, 200 pages on bitcointalk, dev made a completely new algo - HDD mining, week ago he made pool from scratch, and now he makes another its version, great block explorer. It is how fast and adaptive crypto should be. Don’t misunderstood me I think NAUT is great coin, and BK makes a lot, but this POS thing...

I totaly agree with you. The most irritating thing is to see the same 3 persons (FlyingMongoose , IncreaseMyT, Doging ) talking with each other and trying to convince everybody about things coming, these people work for NAUT. One (IncreaseMyT) is showing charts, and giving coments on the charts..that are totaly wrong, he doesn't understand.

I don't understand why you'd FUD something you're invested in.

I don't work for NAUT and thought POS would be complete weeks ago.

I suggested a number of bounties for things like multipool and marketing.

I don't get paid but I contributed to Fitch sponsorship, the explorer and the facebook advertising.

If BK controlled an address for NAUT activities it might encourage people to participate a bit more.

While I hold the community manager title which I am willing to share, that's where my affiliation stops. All the NAUT I have is NAUT I have mined or purchased myself. The only other capacity I have is Nautijobs which is my own project, while BK likes and supports the idea, I so far have no financial contributions from anyone in my transaction logs on my wallet. One person some time ago decided to just give me 200 NAUT for the work I had done so far (articles and reddit theme by that time).

I am holding long term because I truly believe in this coin and the ideas behind it, I am also founding Nautijobs for the same reason.

Now to resume my silence as my wedding is tomorrow.

You have two opinions up there from concern investors both have a point.
I’m here for some time but till now I was only reading, since I’m also a Naut investor committed to this coin and concerned about its feature I want share my opinion with you.

What seems to be a big flow in here is lack of transparency. You do not know what this POS gone be. So there is no way to tell if 3 months to developed it is long or not. But since we don’t know and this is a quick changing market people loos interest in Naut. I know what skilled IT engineer can accomplish in a month and several times I’ve heard from investors that one critical factor for the project is Time To Market and it seems to me that this factor in not taken to account here.

Lack of real community is another think. I won’t go in to details. I’m not aiming to insult anyone, but see Burst Coin and its bitcointalk page. It is a good example of leaving community. They started from scratch few weeks ago since they use Java and new algo they did not even have a pool software. Now it’s ready and working. In 2 weeks they wrote pool and now they are writing it’s new version and multipool. Mark my words they will deliver it quicker than Naut community will deliver it’s POS (sorry for bitterness  here).
The list of things to do here is not changing very much. And this is because no new people appear in the project. In my opinion this is caused by this secrecy about POS. No road map no idea what this is, how it’s going to work and when it will be delivered?
Lack of Naut economy or any new ideas to use the coin. You just want to keep it?

I doubt BK will give us a date until it's finished and I think the code is supposed to be secret so it doesn't get copied.

I agree there's an issue getting projects started and that's why I recommended an official escrow/development fund so the community could set up some bounties.

BK actually was on TV on CNBC recently (I don't have the clip) and talked about NAUT there.

It was also mentioned in an article he was involved in (linked a couple pages back). Is also in his book I believe being published in September and available through multiple retailers both physical and online. I post weekly updates on my development of Nautijobs.

Him and Bryce (from Blocktech) both have agreed NOT to place ETAs due to a number of reasons, including but not limited to not being able to meet those deadlines.

The proof of stake method is completely new and unseen before (according to something Bryce told us on IRC) that being the case NOT saying what it is yet prevents copy cats until release our near to release.

If they do post what it is specifically then I would expect release shortly after.

I am still buying and holding, the feeling I have in my bones are; the longer the new wallet takes the more features it will have.

This is still early days in crypto, for me this is one of my long term holds, let's see where we are in a couple of years    and not days/weeks and months.
