how can I / we get more DB and more important how can we get it to raise in price ?

As it's a community project rising from a dead coin; we all have to be active; and no magic trick will make the price rise; as we have no pow to back us. So i'm really happy that you are not considering this price as a "bad" thing; in fact; starting at this rate will allow people to buy more coins; and then get more incentive to join this community.

We are all discussing here and on #distroblitz on freenode (u have link in OP) to think how to make something happens with distroblitz.

Waldiston is working on the new forum; our site is under dev (finishing details) and faucet will be integrated; i'm still seeking for a casino owner; but i think we are yet too small to have good arguments to put on the table.

What we need (i think) is a better distribution; and try to have back the 45m blitz still in circulation during those 3 months; so spread the word.

Have anyone contacted mintpal to get distroblitz on their voting list? I have voted for blitzcoin several times every day there, is there anyway that distroblitz can continue on blitzcoins votes or do we have to start from zero?

I think we need to start from 0; mintpal is not my target now; my main objective is distribution; which I think is the key to success. See the people coming after having some free coins ? Isn't that the basis to a strong community ? That's why doge is so powerfull now; u could have had millions for free; and people with those free coins started a nice community.

We don't have pow for distribution; but giveaways; which I think can be a big difference. We had pow with blitz; hashrate and btc were injected at this time; now we all have a part back and we have to share this a lot. You will still have your investment as you can claim your free DB as anyone; and a guy from a poor african country with no money too  

Big holders are not good for traders; so they won't pump our DB without a lot of smaller older. Blitz holders are DB's core.

In fact you still have some time to buy some really cheap coin while participating in our growing community
